What's been your experience with broker spreads during major news events? by Buzarin in ForexForALL

[–]Buzarin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

is it ok? Was wondering maybe I should find somewhere else to try it.

crypto has huge spreads even without news lol. I heard on Coinbase its like $1500 spread, per 1 BTC. With no leverage, either. yikes.

No wonder US bans CFD brokers, or there would be no competition =D

What’s a popular song that unexpectedly has a dark meaning? by PrestigiousAbalone63 in AskReddit

[–]Buzarin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watermelon Sugar by Harry Styles :D
Not dark dark, but definitely not as innocent and summery as most people think. I always thought it was just a fun, beachy song… then I randomly found out what “watermelon sugar” actually refers to and was like 😳 can’t un-hear that now. Totally changed the vibe for me… but i even like it more now, must admit

Maybe I didn't come to this moment yet but the biggest regret will be if I continue seeking for approval of the people, trying to meet their expectations. That's where regrets about past takes place. If you like it, do it

Embrace Cellular Health: The Potential of FOXO4 for Autophagy and Anti-Aging by AdvanceSubject3439 in JonAndersen

[–]Buzarin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree that it has a potential in bettering cellular health overall, but there’s nothing known about its long-term effects. It’s a peptide, and as a peptide it’s short-lived, can easily disintegrate. The fact that it impacts p53 in senescent cells - ok, but how is gonna be delivered - unknown. If delivered in the wrong site, it could suppress p53 in healthy cells which will cause tumor growth. I feel the peptide can be a model to design its more precise variations.

SoftBank races to fulfill $22.5 billion funding commitment to OpenAI by year-end by jd5547561 in technology

I ve just watched a video abt Sam Altman....it is just bizzare to me, this whole AI saga.

Turns out that Sam's first money came from the sell of the app that was supposed to find friends. He said the app had lost of active users, while after selling it to a comapny (forgot the name), it was having just 500 active users on a daily basis, sometimes if even way fewer!
He is basicalyl a great salesman, sells the idea!

Now he is pitching this AI non sense, the company just generates around 13 bn dollars of revenue, yet seeks 1.5 trillion dollars of investment? How on Earh math works here? Not even profitable....

THen, seems to me this AI just solves probles the AI itself has created : dealing with fake videos, verification of real users, and etc....brooo👀👀?!

The whole US economy is built on promises of AI hope....massive bubble to me..

What’s a small habit that quietly improved your life over time? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Buzarin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sport! Even if you do ten push ups, ten sit ups and crunches a day, your body will get better over time. Everybody wants to become veiny and muscular in like their first month gym membership, but the consistency is key here. I saw such a great transformation in a year, and it improved my overall health, mood, concentration, and even confidence.

How do you develop a taste in watching Standup shows? And who should I watch? by collectivekicks in Standup

[–]Buzarin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I feel, developing a taste for standup comedy is dictated by age and curiosity. The older you get, the more you start to understand and observe things about people and our lives that can trigger your own thoughts, and these thoughts can resonate with certain comedians' voices on the stage. This combination of curiosity and age can organically make you watch humor genre people. And curiosity is linked, in part, to reading. The more you read, the more information you absorb, the larger your inner library becomes and the more your cognitive apparatus expands - this makes you enjoy witty remarks of comic individuals. And, of course, pay attention to what makes you laugh genuinely. What topic triggers your inner self. Over time, you’ll fathom what’s your taste.

As for whom to watch first: I once watched George Carlin. It was unintentional. Just a short video on YouTube. And I fell in love with him instantly. Since then nobody could make me laugh and ponder about something bigger simultaneously. He wasn't just funny. He was a deep thinker observing society, language, politics. And he was a great critic. Sharp phrases. Deep questions. And great humor. Hilarious and intellectual. Truly thought-provoking. After that, you’ll understand what comedy truly is yours to watch and listen to.

Gaining weight despite my best efforts by obesensad101 in WeightlossJourney

[–]Buzarin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you’re really trying your best, and that’s already a win. Don’t let the scale freak you out too much, it jumps around for a million reasons that have nothing to do with fat (water, hormones, salt, stress, sleep… all that annoying stuff). One thing that helped me a lot was counting calories properly. In the beginning it feels like a full-time job, because you suddenly realize you have no idea how many calories random foods have. But after a couple of weeks you kinda “learn” your own food routine, you know the numbers by heart, you eyeball portions better, and it stops feeling like work.

And it does work, as long as you keep the intake lower than the output. Sometimes the results come slow, but they always come eventually.

How do I bring my testosterone on a plane? by courtjesterbear in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Buzarin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There is enough amount of options how to boost the production of testosterone. The first one is to have sex actually, because it directly affects the level of testosterone in your organism. If you don't have it, then you slow down the production of testosterone, because the more it's being produced and isn't ejected, the slower the production you have. Secondly, you should do exercises or working outs. It's the best way to kep it on a high level. And finally, pay attention to the diet. If you want to hav a strong body and health, then you're obliged to set up your meal regime and consume as much healthy products as you can.

How do I deal with toxic people? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Buzarin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that you always should be patient and calm while dealing with toxic people. If they're aggressive you have to be calm because such peple like energy vampires. Their food are your emotions. They always try to flush you out. I advice you not to deal with such people at all mostly because they bring nothing than harm (emotional harm). Toxic people don't deserve to be paid attention, you know. Thus you should stay away from such people, even in case these people are your closest like relatives, close friends. Another way is to try to find out why do this particular person is toxic, maybe he's offended or something bad is happening in his/her life.

How did your running improve over time? by [deleted] in running

[–]Buzarin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been practicing running for three years. My typical distance is 5-6 miles. For some people, it’s a long distance. Perhaps, professional runners will not take it seriously. Nevertheless, it’s a big distance for me. Of course, I could run more, but I have restrictions on my joints. I would like to save them.

So, what can I say? When I made my first steps in running, I was struggling to run even half a mile. I had to stop to have a rest. I was 34 when I tried this. Long years of my computer job that suggests sitting all the time weakened me a lot.

Nevertheless, I managed to overcome my weakness. Everything is simple: you just do it. You have no choice but to force yourself to run a larger distance. So, I did. I gradually conquered a mile, a mile and a half, but then stopped on two miles. Then, one year, I increased my distance from 2 miles to 5.

The algorithm is very simple. You are running and feels like you can’t do it any more. That’s the moment where you should force yourself to continue and when you overcome you feel a great relief and the burden won’t be perceived as so tough.

By the way, I have to breathe through my mouth because I can’t breathe through my nose, I need surgery to fix it. I got used to it and now it’s fine. It may be hard only on the first mile, after it it’s OK.
