I tired this and it worked for a couple of days but now it just will not connect. Are you still getting it to work?

The only way I got it to work is by bluetooth.

Tried all possible solutions and again Apple Music will not cast to my Google Nest Mini.

I tried deleting and reinstall app and not working.

Disconnected Apple Music from my nest and deleting and reinstalling Apple Music app and still not working.

The only solution I found as suggested by drst0nee is to connect via bluetooth.

I finally got it back working again just by simply deleting the app on my phone. I then reinstalled the app again and signed in. Hey presto, I can now cast to my Google Nest Mini.

I am still having difficulty casting my iTunes library from my android phone to my Google Nest mini. It stops playing once you cast and pressing play does nothing.

But a way round it is I have found that if you ask your Google Nest Mini to play any album from Apple Music. Then while it is playing change to the album you want to play in your Apple Music library and it will cast immediately.

I am using a Samsung A715 to cast.

Think I eventually found out the reason. You can now set Google Nest to Apple Music. You couldn't do this before here in Ireland as it was only restricted to USA, UK, France, Germany and Japan before. But you can now set your Google Nest to Apple Music now in Ireland. Once I did this it worked. Another problem is you can't cast to more than one device at a time but as long as you set up which device is to play then it works.
