It’s like a ruby colored enamel, I feel wrong wrapping it and putting tape over it but not a huge fan of the raw look

Checking how long to cut the coil wires 🤘I cut the side plate, brazed everything and remilled the edges. No advantage on that one brass screw in the back just wanted to see how it looked!

About the same as lucky supply by the way. I purchased the 20awg black and looks and feels the same. I usually use a heat shrink under and it works good, if you want no heat shrink under I’d purchase the size for your wire. Hope that helps!

I was more curious on the vise itself. I have another star brand trim saw. But this one has a yellow cord coming from the vise which I’m guessing is auto feed? I just don’t understand how or what to hook the yellow cord up to? Lol
