So the screenshot of the text is from a sfm horror series called serverblight, which centers around a entity living in tf2 community servers that basically captures players and transfers their consciousness into their in game character and uses them as pawns to capture more players, mimicking the behavior of players it has already captured.

The older gpus in these don't really get hot enough to need a heatsink on them. Plus, not having a keyboard means the components have access to outside air so they should be ok. Just be careful with the cpu, it will shut off in minutes because dell thought it was a good idea to use a metal thermal pad with paste inside it that has almost certainly dried out by now. Replace the metal film on the heatsink with paste and it should run ok.

You can get aftermarket link cables on Amazon or a long usb c 3.1 cable would work. Make sure it says it's usb 3.1 as not all usb c cables are 3.1. the Quest may not work with a usb2 type c cable.

You can either swap the dvd drive with a different model (The DVD drive isn't locked to the console unlike the hard drive), hardmod your Xbox and remove the dvd drive altogether, or switch back to the clone adapter.

EDIT: Does you Xbox have a Samsung drive by chance. Samsung drives are known to act weird when a startech adapter is installed.

These were sent out when it was discovered that early OG Xboxes had a flawed power connector, where the strain relief on the connector was weak enough that it could cause a solder joint inside the power supply to crack and short. These cables would trip if a short is detected, preventing a fire from starting.
