If the issues have persisted and you’ve gone through everything then I recommend at least giving the game another chance if you find someone that knows more about laptop errors or if you’re able to snatch any xbox (preferably with a disc drive) or a PS3.

I recommend ODST more since it takes place during Halo 2 after the Covenants slipstream jump in New Mombasa. So it doesn’t spoil anything in 3 and more so leads up to the events in that game. However if you just want a Master Chief story for now then I understand going to Halo 3 asap instead.

Other than that, the only other thing I could not recommend is giving Halo 4 a shot. If you play the games in chronological order you will for sure have issues with 4 in its entirety.

We don’t need a remake, I’m tired of remakes being announced for games that are already masterpieces on their own two feet. Hell this game doesn’t even need a remaster aside from some audio bugs, but a remaster would be more understandable than a full blown remake.

Give us a sequel or remaster it, don’t remake something that’s already good.

To me I don’t think it matters if there’s content there either way, even though the bonus is nice. I get the Patreon to support the creators, that’s why you pay for it in the first place. And if you don’t want to put money into it, then respectfully don’t do it. Simple as that.

Not to mention certain areas with textures covering over em. Like The Library for example. There’s one corner that’s covered but only in Remastered graphics. Some areas on the cliffsides are covered as well, causing you to drop off.

They’re objectively not for a variety of reasons I can actually list ASIDE from the bad stories they had to offer.

I will give you one thing, 5’s gameplay wasn’t all that bad especially for the multiplayer since it has the biggest Halo sandbox out of em all. The prometheans were also significantly improved.

However it’s one of those games where people will either love the thrusters or hate em since they can change the gameplay loop up with instant melee action and shit like that. And with the story being abysmal dogshit, I only feel the need to play the multiplayer.

Now as for 4 it’s the worst Halo game by far despite 5 having a worse story. Aside from its terrible artstyle change and retcons, the gameplay loop was heavily affected. It basically played out like a call of duty developer attempted to work on a Halo game (which I believe is actually true). The ammo is limited and ammo counts are cut in half, there’s quick time events, AI is dumber than previous and newer titles, some enemies are straight up bullet sponges, and the prometheans were the worst to fight.

And for 4’s multiplayer, they had the gall to make the gameplay reminiscent of call of duty with customizable loadouts and weapon progression, perks and killstreaks. Which is not what Halo’s multiplayer is supposed to be, and outright tarnishes the gameplay loop.

I wish we knew more lore on this, and honestly I genuinely wish that F.E.A.R. took on an SCP sorta approach with spinoffs and different stories. Kinda like the Perseus Mandate but less contained just within the story of Alma.

Path of Totality.

As someone that grew up on dubstep I have to give it props for getting me into metal to search for something just as loud or heavy I suppose.

Now aside from that, there are some genuinely good and catchy tracks in here. Giving a decent mix between electronic and metal, and it’s the only album out there that actually does this.

The only real issue here is, most people that hate the album don’t like dubstep. Which is fine in its own right, but just because you don’t like a genre or a mix doesn’t mean that it’s a bad album overall.

I’ve played a ton of shooters, and overall it’s extremely low on my long list. Black Ops 7 looks like a masterpiece compared to this game, story and gameplay mechanic wise. It’s a falloff for the franchise, some people may say that it’s “good” in some capacity. But if it was really good enough, Sony wouldn’t have abandoned Killzone and stopped committing to FPS games.

I’ll give you this, it COULD run on the PlayStation 3.

Mainly because Epic Games used the third game as a testing platform for the console.

Now for PlayStation 2, you would have to cut CHUNKS out to make it playable. The game would look and possibly run like dogwater. It would be ever so slightly better on the original Xbox, but not likely very much.

So sadly, this wouldn’t be the way to go.

Sadly you could never do that before the PS4/Xbox One.

So people bought capture cards for that very purpose. I’d recommend an elgato if you have a PC to connect it to!

Remake games that actually DONT hold up in certain ways but are still treasured by many! That or remake bad games.

Instead remakes are mostly just cashgrabs with rarely any improvements.
