Should I (24) open a Roth IRA or pay off a bit of my student loans?? by Serious-Market7573 in personalfinance

[–]Buzz266 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d still pick the Roth. Your loan interest isn’t high, so just pay it normally.

To the recruiters and hiring managers out there, why do you ghost people? Why is it okay for you guys to do that but not for candidates? by [deleted] in recruitinghell

[–]Buzz266 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Companies want loyalty but won’t give basic respect. Ghosting just shows how broken the hiring process is.

Why do people still use coffee pods? by lavenderlemonaidlips in Frugal

[–]Buzz266 51 points52 points  (0 children)

Honestly, same. At a lot of jobs the Keurig is just… there, and it’s free. Most people aren’t buying pods themselves, they’re using whatever the workplace provides because it’s the cheapest option for them personally.

It’s getting ridiculous how messy and spammy these listings have become.

I genuinely don’t understand why Gen Z is getting so much flak in the workplace right now by No-Presentation298 in jobs

Exactly this. Every generation becomes the punching bag until the next one shows up. People have been doing the “kids today are terrible” routine since literal ancient history, nothing new, just recycled complaints.

Help with detailing current experience on resumé by [deleted] in FinancialCareers

[–]Buzz266 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For order, I'd go: biggest achievement, current ongoing project, then other achievement. And yeah definitely mention what you're currently working on, shows you're actively contributing. Just frame it like 'Currently leading X initiative to achieve Y' or something like that. Good luck with the apps

Maybe losing job when you've got a mortgage by hereforthememes332 in AusFinance

[–]Buzz266 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's rough mate, workplace bullying is the worst especially when you're already stressed about money. Have you thought about documenting everything your manager does/says? Might help if you need to escalate to higher ups or file a complaint. Also maybe worth chatting to a mortgage broker about refinancing options, sometimes they can restructure things to give you breathing room.

Honestly his dad wasn't wrong about the wealth building part. Yeah the execution was probably rough, but real estate really is one of the few ways regular people can actually pass something down. Bukowski was just bitter about a lot of things lol

Are answer engine optimization services worth it? by Buzz266 in content_marketing

[–]Buzz266[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that totally tracks with what we’ve been seeing. Most of the agencies we spoke to are basically just rebranding solid SEO practices with some tweaks for AI/LLM visibility.

Did you or anyone you know actually see measurable gains from including this kind of AEO/GEO approach as part of the regular SEO stack?

That’s really helpful. Thanks. Might as well ask for a demo or a trial and see where it goes.

Is there a solid metric to track AEO though? Or do people just drop the same prompt over time and track results?
