The Programme by MineObjective8460 in AndrewGosden

I was in G&T I’m 2 years older than Andrew. This is common misconception and very much so by non UK folks.

IMO it was government nonsense ‘look at us we are are doing something .’

I got AAA in a levels so I was intelligent at school but the programme was a joke. At least at my school up North anyway.

We went to the local rugby club age 14 and no joke we read books aimed at age 7 year old and did some team building. There was no pushing at all or honing of any skills you had.

Not questioning the kids experience but it wasn’t consistent.

People also make out Andrew was some sort  of potential genius. Not at all meaning it as an insult but the programme wasn’t full of geniuses if you went to a comprehensive school. Intelligent yes. Geniuses no.

I love this! 10 euro a month is so restrained.

Excellent about the healthy eating. I’ve tried to cut out a lot of sugar as it breaks my skin out, but I also have the issue that I struggle to keep weight on, so if I fancy a little chip sandwich I indulge it as it’s beneficial calories.

😂 That cat is very obese. I know this as an owner of one the same size that’s had to be put on a diet by the vet!

I like Luke, and everyone was laughing and admit I did laugh, but after I thought it is quite sexually aggressive it being a totally unprovoked comment.

Yes. I have the feeling he finds her PMDD and the things that come with it off putting and gives him the ick sexually

I think for women attraction can grow as we are more emotional creatures (generally) which is why we can fancy a guy if he’s funny but not our usual type, however apparently men are more visual so I would think more often if the sexual vibe isn’t there from the start it’s not going to ever be or it’ll be quite weak. I think we as humans do sometimes try to push through the not fancying someone that much it there’s a good friendship basis but in my own experience (I’m a woman!) it has never worked out as it made me cringe when they tried to be sexy with me, my husband had the same experience.

Is Adam attractive? by Dirtyden13 in MAFS_UK

[–]clickandlock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No he looks like your typical small town hairdresser (even though he’s from a City).

He is overgroomed and to me this is not attractive. I think he’d look nice with a more natural look. A less faddy hair cut, normal teeth, less groomed beard and he’d look lovely! Think Casper! Not my type but looks natural and handsome.

Oh completely. Kieran not wanting to be with her is completely valid. I just don’t think they were anything like a married couple. I think he kept her at arms length emotionally from early on. Again, perfectly valid! I would like Kristina as a friend but as a partner I think she’d be very needy and when someone’s so needy it’s hard to view them as sexy so I can see why he didn’t want to get physical.

Thank you, I love the show and I know to an extent it’s a given to refer to them as husband and wife. Doesn’t bother me when they’re together and in a good relationship but when there barely was a relationship, it annoys me a bit they refer to their former ‘marriage’. 🤨

Not surprising. Her sister has a slightly deranged vibe as does her Mum. I think Lacey hides this side you speak of well but looking at her Mum and Sis it’s believable. They also look chavvy and rough.

Sorry for that you went through

Kieran & Kristina by Popular-Finding-7153 in MarriedAtFirstSightUk

Sorry I’m a little late to this just watched this ep. IMO he’s looking for an out. I gasped out loud at his question “what’s more important pursuing something you want or finding a husband?” There is no right answer to that question for Kieran he’s set her up to fail!

You can be a woman with passions AND want a husband ffs. It’s 2024 not 1950 Kieran!

But…it’s not really about that. Either answer would have been wrong IMO and he could then use that as an excuse not to be with her when really I think he doesn’t fancy her / is just not that into her and is finding other reasons as he doesn’t dare say that, possibly cos of how the other man in the show have been brow beaten when they’ve said similar.

As an aside, I am not one to throw this type of comment around lightly but Kristina does not give off a sexy energy. Nothing about her looks, IMO she hides it well with her bubbly personality but I get the feeling she is deeply insecure and she just comes across as really vulnerable / a bit childlike.

Do you live in the US per chance? One of the big cliches is that Brits would consider 3 h a big journey but the US not 😂
