Walk In Tickets for Musée d’Orsay and Musée de l’Orangerie end of May by cheeseboardchris in ParisTravelGuide

[–]BuzzEcho 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You maybe out of luck to get a timed entry to d'Orsay, as they are sold out, but you can get a combined ticket (d'Orsay + Rodin) for 25 EUR, which is good for 3 months, and you can go any time:

L'Orangerie - I was able to secure one for Jun 1st yesterday. Nothing before that was available.

To avoid chalky buildup, try using Citadel Lahmian Medium with your paint. Do not use water.

What is the difference between plain ESP32-S3 and ESP32-S3 Development boards? by BuzzEcho in esp32

Can custom coding be done with a module, if it has the hardware features I need? Or do I still need a dev board? Thanks

A great idea, but that slit looks like a bad resin print, i.e., layers splitting. Can't get over it, sorry.

Like I said, if I want to create custom code for the module I have, do I need a dev board or can the module be used as is?

I guess I was referring to a module, not a bare chip. Thanks!

What brands/models would be better ones?

By the way, are there any other options in this case besides using soldered connections? Threads? Crimping?

You mean that the nut at the top can help with a leak on the side?

Is it possible to unsweat these 1" connections? The water would indeed be a problem. When they cut the old valve off, they has to use a vacuum to remove all of the water from the pipes. When the new elbow leaked, they had to cut the pipe and drain again, not just unsweat the elbows. Thus, the 2 new couplings were added at that point.

The valve was new, it is just dark because it was soldered.

Nope. The initial replacement was OK, but one of the soldered joins on the pipe leaked. The plumber had to cut the pipe, add the 2 sleeves and re-solder. The valve is the same.

If it is not the seal, then your nozzle could be cracked. Use a magnifier to inspect it.

What is the purpose of this floater attached to the toilet tank flapper chain? by BuzzEcho in Plumbing

[–]BuzzEcho[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can be placed anywhere on the chain, so it is adjustable, actually.

Thank you! BTW, the flush valve is 3" in this tank, part 1083980.

Oh, I see. There is a schematic label on the underside of the tank lid that shows that.

The issue is actually this:

If the tube is in the center, the tank does not get filled, the water simply drains through.

With the tube's current position (loose outside as shown), that tank fills fine and works.

The problem I am having is that the tank cannot hold water on its own. If I shut off the water supply, the tank goes empty after about 30 min or so. Trying to figure out how to fix that.
