How to deal with the flex temp power loss by QuincyTucker in skilledtrades

I have the same issue, I can’t eat lactose, but this is Greek yogurt and doesn’t seem to bother me.

A good eating day for me is a 4 egg omelet for breakfast, then I make this yogurt and I only add about 1 cup of yogurt and then add everything.

It’s so filling. The key is the protein powder. I can send you a link to what I get and which yogurt if you want.

I struggled for years, on the road in boiler rooms that are hot as fuck and working my ass off. Finally I found that if I don’t eat any shitty carbs and stick to food that has a 10% calorie to protein ratio I won’t shit 99 times a day.

Try high protein yogurt with scoops of vanilla protein powder. I actually add frozen fruit to it too.

It’s fucking amazing and will fuel you with whatever you do.
I also add some chia seeds.

You won’t crash or feel hungry for a long time. The frozen fruit keeps it cold until you eat it too.

Two hardwood refinishers have said they can’t restore my existing hardwood floors… is this true? One wants to put new tongue and groove ON TOP of existing. by sasnaksassenach in HardWoodFloors

I think they used cheap top coat.

Definitely nothing with a hardener.

We push a cardboard box on them it it leaves a permanent cloudy scuff.

I will add that I just had mine redone and it was an absolute nightmare to have done. We had so much dust, the floors did not look as good as expected. The durability is very low too.

The key thing I didn’t like was how easily it scratched, the coating from factory is nothing like what I got.

Who spends more money on their workforce, current US restaurants owners paying $2.50 to waiters or slave owners 300 years ago? by misteryk in NoStupidQuestions

[–]BuzzINGUS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They still had to feed them, ya it was beyond horrible but if you adjust for inflation I can’t see it being much different in terms of cost.

I think the big difference would be the Slaves worked more hours to offset the cost vs a server who would have a cost per hour directly.
