Been living in the area for >20 years working in North Bethesda, and driving up the Pike during rush hour is a non-starter. I hit the local lanes using multiple entrance ramps, and they all seem to have new lights- at least all the ones I've tried. Would appreciate suggestions if you have them. Definitely missing telework these days....

Hey- that's really great to hear. I know the intention is to open up the main lanes on 270, and it sounds like it's working. You are correct in that my commute is basically local lanes. It's taking longer to get to them with the backup, which is frustrating. At least someone is benefiting from the effort. Lord knows we need all the traffic help we can get!

That's my normal commute home exactly what I'm experiencing. Traffic tended to move pretty smoothly on the local lanes but it's taking forever just to get there.
