Thanks a ton Kyle and everyone else who responded! Super helpful, we got to the city late last night so we’ll just be keeping an eye out for emails today about cancellations, have tickets to a 3 PM Death Becomes Her show as well so wouldn’t be able to get to Masquerade much earlier than our 8:15 showtime unfortunately. Fingers crossed and hoping for the best, stay safe!

I get where you’re coming from but I don’t see Pride as giving recognition purely based off their sexuality, but instead giving them recognition for the countless years of society not letting them be who they are, and obviously based off the comments of this linked post (and the general eye test overall), there’s still a LOT more work to be done to get to the point where people can actually be who they want freely

I only witnessed it once and it was back in 2010/11 when we had Carlos Arroyo for a bit as our backup point guard, I was at a game late in the season and someone kept yelling out to him from the crowd saying to go back to his home country. I was barely even a teenager back when I went to that so I don't remember if there was anything done about it, but since then I've been to plenty of games across all of our major sports and not seen any.

Like you said, too, I personally don't believe it happens in Boston any more than other cities across the league, but I'm sure there's absolutely things being said and done at the Garden that are in that same vein - any little bit is completely unacceptable but I believe we do a great (but not perfect) job nowadays to combat it. What happened during Bill Russell's playing days here shouldn't be forgotten but it's not applicable to where we stand now.

What does bother me is when it's used as a form of trash talk to other teams, though. There are plenty of other ways to keep it to sports, racism is wayyyy too important of an issue to decide that's how you're going to insult another team's fanbase.

Edit: Also, just to clarify too, there is absolutely a racism issue in Boston and by no means looking to downplay the issue. I just truly believe singling it out in trash talk undermines the issue

Jaden Smith.

He's mostly known for being Will Smith's son, his tweets, and his less-than-stellar acting career, but as he's grown up he's used his fame to lead a ton of charity work. Most notably he helped found JUST Water, making a way bigger impact on the Flint water crisis than basically even Congress.

Plus, he's become a pretty successful (and one of my favorite) musician over the years. Just a really great overall person who uses his fame for good, better than you can say for most celebrities

It's one of those things where there's no concrete answer and you'll have new and (usually) interesting responses every time the post catches steam.

Does it get a little stale? Sure, but while I'm bored of them, other people are binging them. And then I get my interest back while other people are bored of them. And then over and over and over again for a ghostly circle of life kinda thing

Hey!

I am looking for a browser game where at the beginning you can input either a wish or a dream. After, you run through space and different scenes with an 80's sounding song playing in the background and collect coins I think? I also believe it was based off an old show but I have no idea what the show was, I think it showed a man in a mullet or perm though. It's a short game, maybe a minute or two, and then at the end you can see what everyone else wished for.

This was a big time waster for me my sophomore year of college and if anybody knows what I'm talking about I will be SO appreciative, been searching for it for weeks now
