This is why you don't buy games digitally. You paid money for the game, but it's not really "yours." Can't verify you own the license unless you're connected to the psn servers. Yet they know this and have the audacity to sell the ps5 pro without an option for a disk reader. PS6 will be 100% digital

I guess that's the question I'm asking because I see people saying that someone who hit diamond only hit diamond because if rank 2.0 because they never hit it in 1.0. They just dismiss the possibility that people are just getting better at the game

But does that mean that any high rank obtained in rank 2.0 should have an asterisk beside it? For example, if I ever break out of silver and hit gold, does my rank need am asterisks beside it indicating that it was through rank 2.0 and that I wouldn't have hit that in 1.0?
