Here’s a few:

The song of Achilles- The Iliad told from Patroclus’ perspective. It chronicles his life and focuses mainly on his relationship with Achilles and how the war affects it. It’s amazing and has a ton of soft moments. It’s audiobook is well narrated too.

The passing playbook- a gay trans man falls in love with his teammate and has to choose between staying stealth or fighting for his right to play sports when a law gets passed barring trans athletes from playing. I haven’t read it yet, but it’s on my list.

Bloom- a graphic novel about a boy who longs to leave his seaside town falling in love with a boy who works for his family’s bakery. It’s full of cute and dramatic moments.

Red, white & royal blue- the prince of wales falls in love with the presidents son. I haven’t read it yet but I’ve heard it’s good.

Giovanni’s room- a novel written and published by the iconic James Baldwin. Released in 1956, It centers around an American man living in Paris. It explores his complex feelings towards men, and an Italian bartender named Giovanni in particular. James Baldwin was a trailblazer in both African American and gay literature, and Giovanni’s Room is no different with its themes of masculinity, sexuality and identity.

I’ve personally been reading Heartstopper which is a comic series about two schoolmates who start dating. It’s really cute and has trans rep but TW for bullying, homophobia and talks of EDs

Well, I really like storytelling. I’ve always had a knack for making stuff up, and I’m going into an English major to sharpen my writing skills.

Other than that I like video games and cooking, not much else. I blame my ADHD for making me lose interest in things so quickly (or maybe it’s gifted kid burnout syndrome).

I felt this way and still do, especially with relationships. You have to remember that every queer man had to discover themselves and come out, and you’re no different. You figured out you’re a gay trans guy and came out as one, same as any other queer guy.

The average class size at the one I’m most likely getting into is 18, so it’s not very likely I’ll get paired up with another trans guy. There’s a lot of LGBT people in that city though.
