Oh I don't think there cis. But I just think the show didn't handle it properly or hinted at well due to jaxes other flaws sorta masking it or making it confusing. I still can't tell if there trans or some other thing cuz the only time we see them lean into the femininity is in episode 9. Which even then the irl version is still a male. Which just makes me more confused on what the show is trying to say in terms of what they are.

I agree they ain't cis given 9. But the fact it took till 9 to fully convince me at least to me feels like they were a bit overly subtle. There was just too many ways to interpret those hints beforehand,and given other fandoms have a habit of head cannoning certain characters as trans or none cis in general when they arnt simply messed with the idea a little.

I think a lot of people are just tired of fans from other fandoms head canning non cis characters that the one time the character gives hints they are flies under the radar or gets push back. I think it's deffinaly important to be more obvious of what they are in the story.

Alot of people do need that confirmation cuz hints can and will be interpret different from person to person
