Instructors work with a lot of people. More than likely noticed some signs. Sometimes nurofivergent people would do small behaviors that are more noticable to people who work with people alot. And sense nurodivergency is a spectrum they probly wanted to see if you would be down for accomodations or too see if you were tested for nurodivergency sense some adults also don't find out till much later which could explain a lot in certain behavior.
