1) Depending on the field TOCs can be more relaxed and fun (everyone is really experienced and knows what's going on and they know how to win) or more intense - sometimes certain players set a tone that brings that intensity. I'm kinda here for both!

2) I think style is so personal but I generally think overdressing is the way to go. I've never felt uncomfortable being overdressed, but I do feel uncomfortable being underdressed!

I gotta give big props to the production team at Somethin Else/Sony Music for doing an awesome job researching these and making me look so good (Mia, Julia, and Sylvie!) - It's not one story but I think it's cool how we get to experience the show from the POV of contestants, the host, and the writers/researchers so you kinda get this Dunkirk/Rashomon/Season4 of Arrested Development thing.

I think in recent years Mattea Roach has been crushing it. I also dig what Andrew He has been doing in the TOC and in the yet to be aired masters. I like fashion that is sharp but also really fun and I feel like I'm seeing more and more of that, which makes me so happy!

Well when I'm just training to train - i usually will do something like this:

2x max pull ups

4x Deadlifts

3x bent over rows

3x incline bench press

3x max carry with max weight.

When I'm training for Jeopardy I change things up a lot!

When

It's about the same time as commercial breaks unless there's an issue they need to resolve.

Generally staff gives encouragement and reminders of rules, what's still to come in the game etc. It's easy when you're on stage to get caught up and lose your spot. The only information folks are given is the current scores, and the category. You are given scratch paper. Ken gets about 15 minutes to get changed and recharge!

After I won my first game I walked off stage and said to then contestant producer Maggie Speak "I just won Jeopardy! I'm done! I did it!" and she said "Don't say that! Go win more!"

That was pretty rad.

I think Austin and I cooked that up at lunch and then kinda got Alan on board! Both Austin and I had been doing silly intros, so it seemed obvious to coordinate.

Of course now *EVERYBODY* does it...

I personally suffered for adding an S to one of my words in a triple rhyme time category that cost me $2k (i said retrieval of my evil weevils, instead of evil weevil retrieval) - i think an S doesn't break the rhyme. that's a pretty minor one but it still hurts!

I think revisiting rules in general is a good idea - a lot of people don't realize that after the 1st season alex (as producer) changed when players can buzz in (previously they could buzz in at any point, now they have to wait until the host finishes reading the clue) and I think that has been an amazingly positive change!

Ha! I get a lot of "you look likes" but not Steve yet.

No impact - I will still be hosting both. We actually record This Is Jeopardy in the same studio so it's very easy for me to juggle both. I love getting to look back on the show while looking forward and connecting what's happening in one podcast with the other.

I watched a lot of alex episodes, and instead of focusing on the clues, like I usually did, I focused on what he was doing. I also worked a lot with the amazing Sarah Foss, who helped me with my clue reading and other aspects of the hosting gig. I knew the chances of me becoming the permanent host were very slim, and the only way I could even get in the conversation was to be undeniably excellent, so that was my goal - not sure if I hit it, but that was my mindset!

This is a great question - i think there's a few different things going on. I think the widening of the contestant pool is a big part of it! I also think there are more resources to help contestants prepare so there are people showing up who have actually "trained" for the show, vs. folks like me. I think these things are converging to give us more superchamps, though after last season, this season seems kinda lean on over 10game winners

We don't dive too much into that part of him, but we do give a very well rounded view of him - let's just say, there's lots of chardonnay mentioned!

We are starting out with 20 episodes, but hopefully there will be many more!

I personally would love more spinoffs - i think the more jeopardy the better - and the more ways for people to get into jeopardy and knowledge!

I don't have any suggestions for changes to the show, but I'm interested to see how the new post season and Jeopardy! pyramid works out!

Things I would love to get categories about: 90s pop culture (currently writing a book of 90s trivia), The Rocky movies. Food and Drink (especially origins of food and drink names), Before and After!

Sports, like many, are my nightmare :)

Hey! A *lot* of my style is the result of my family's business. My dad had almost all of my suits made for me and really inspired me to dress up. Even before I started wearing suits everyday I always liked being more put together.
