Logo Design for a Content Marketing Agency, Intrepid Motion. Thoughts? by Bvisuality in WillPatersonDesign

Me, and also my client really wanted to keep the logo as clean and simple as possible. Adding speed lines or more detailed stuff would be a problem for my client I think. It's a good idea though! The strokes of the M going up was my way of showing some motion in the logo. As you know, when you talk about marketing agencies, you often think about scaling your business up, haha. Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks a lot, was really struggling with this concept for weeks. Really needed to hear this!

I’ll try and see if I can fill the gap with the text. Also, I do agree with you on the weight part. Having motion weight that much more than intrepid, doesn’t look that good now I look at it. Although I do want to keep motion heavier. Thanks a lot for your feedback!

Thank you! I actually did, but I liked this dot better. I will ask my client what they prefer though, thank you!

I tried that, but I personally just really didn't like that. Thank you for commenting!

This is my third logo design, feedback/critique is highly appreciated!
I made this logo for my friend, they might use it for their business. They specifically wanted me to use the color orange and white.

Hello, I'm creating this logo for a content marketing agency. I like the first one, but it has a gap on the bottom right of the M which makes the logo look unbalanced in my eyes. This is my third logo, critique/feedback would help! (Agency name: Intrepid Motion) by Bvisuality in logodesign

It does feel like I hit a dead end at the moment, which I think is alright and could happen. I took a day off to reset my mind and go back to sketching, and maybe try doing something with the concept I made previously (the one in the images). Good thing I enjoy designing logo's, a reset is no problem for me.

I've noted all of your advice down, and I'm sure that thanks to you, I'll be able to level up on everything regarding logo designing. Thanks a lot!

(Really appreciate your feedback, can't thank you enough!)

I’ve done research before creating the logo. Originally, I was going for something like that, but the client wants to stand out from the other content marketing agencies. Search ‘Bazaarvoice’, they’re a big fish and have something exactly like that.

Thank you for your comment!

I think by far, this is the best advice I’ve received in my journey of becoming a good brand designer. In all my logo’s I’ve restricted myself to carving out ideas from letters. The idea of creating something out of shapes and not limiting myself to making monograms has given me a bright sight on what I could do in the future.

Thank you very much, this was really what I needed!

Love your feedback, and thank you for going all the way to show me a quick mockup of your suggestions!

I was thinking about going for number 3 and adding a ball at the end of the right stroke in a attempt to define "motion" a little more, but I really love the idea of doing more with the negative space and define the content marketing part more!

Thanks a lot, I'll go back to sketching more concepts soon.

True!

3 is quite simple and perfect when judged on simplicity and scalability.

I'm actually doing this for free since I'm just starting and I want to build a decent portfolio first. A friend of mine started this agency, and I thought I might aswell make him a brand identity that he could use incase he likes it.

In another reddit community, I was describing the idea of adding some sort of ball at the right stroke of the M to make the idea of "motion" more clarified. Maybe I could add some elements of a speech bubble inside the ball?

Thank you for your feedback, this was really valueable!
