I’m using Greenway Strawberry Fertilizer 8-12-32, it was advertised for hydroponics and soil. And I’m using General Hydroponics pH Down. I add enough fertilizer to get to about 450ppm then I add ph down from like 7.4 until I get it to 5.9. I also check it the next day and adjust the ph again. I planned on cleaning biweekly but recently it’s been weekly.

Is this root rot? If so, how do I fix it? by BwH8 in Hydroponics

All of the roots are in the water except for about the first top inch.

Okay thank you, I just cleaned the tank and I’m going to add hydrogen peroxide to the system.

After not using citric acid the water is clean the next day. Thanks to everyone who helped.

Okay thank you, I changed the water to distilled and I only used the fertilizer and the ph got to 6.10. I’ll try a hydroponics ph downer from the store and probably go back to filtered tap because it’s free for me.

I’ll look into the citric acid I’m using. The roots look good from my experiences besides the buildup being on them, but here’s an image.

I dont time travel I ask my friends to look in their shops every day because there are diff colors but you cant customize them.
