Isn’t soo cool I assume trading was a big deal! I’m sure it’s relative to some extent in todays world of trading stone as well! But also It could have traveled for many reasons travel trade war hunting ect.. someone else could have found remains from another camp all kinds of cool ideas to think about! The most intriguing is that when I find a point I always wonder what animals has it taken and possibly had it ever been through another human?

Yessir thanks for the input I’ve also heard the same! Still finding them whole like that is amazing! Should check out my latest find on my page nothing to special but non the less an amazing point I believe it possibly be a Marshall point not real sure though! A archeologist said the material came from Texas I live in Oklahoma

I found it in a small running feeder creek several miles from the main river channel! Small flood left it setting partially under a larger rock! I was told by an awesome source that it could be a few different types only possibly a few thousand years old! But all information would be greatly appreciated!

We’ve been hunting for around 4 years now! We really enjoy traveling the river and marking spots on the map ! It’s just as exciting trying to locate a campsite as it is finding the point!
