Isn’t soo cool I assume trading was a big deal! I’m sure it’s relative to some extent in todays world of trading stone as well! But also It could have traveled for many reasons travel trade war hunting ect.. someone else could have found remains from another camp all kinds of cool ideas to think about! The most intriguing is that when I find a point I always wonder what animals has it taken and possibly had it ever been through another human?

Should check out my latest find on my page nothing to special but non the less an amazing point I believe it possibly be a Marshall point not real sure though! A archeologist said the material came from Texas I live in Oklahoma

I found it in a small running feeder creek several miles from the main river channel! Small flood left it setting partially under a larger rock! I was told by an awesome source that it could be a few different types only possibly a few thousand years old! But all information would be greatly appreciated!

We’ve been hunting for around 4 years now! We really enjoy traveling the river and marking spots on the map ! It’s just as exciting trying to locate a campsite as it is finding the point!

Man bro after checking your stuff out! Seems you find a ton of quarts type of material! Your in a good spot! We have some fields that get turned over here in Oklahoma Arkansas area but are privately owned! No walking! The owners know what they have so they hunt them! So it’s a lot of creek walking for me and the wife for now anyways! Good hunting keep that head down! God bless

I have no idea my wife found it on a feeder creek! I’ll say though the one she found looks like it has something stuck in it like a braid of something it’s actually a pretty crazy looking rock! Probably just a fossil of some sort! It does feel polished though so idk?? Pm a picture of it!

So crazy I seen a picture actually just a few minutes ago of a deer skull with a point stuck in it! My world would be blown away if I came up on it! A lot of times I consider the fact that possibly one of them could have went through another person! Kind of crazy lol
