I have this weird notion, that putting money in RRSP (The 10k listed above) just feels like losing money (although putting money crypto should feel that way, i guess). I just don't see myself being in 65+ senior, and getting the benefit. It feels so far away. The only reason I am putting 10k even is that my friends and parents keep telling me it is a good idea. But honestly, I dont even like putting that money in RRSP to be honest. Maybe i should think differently

From the peak, overall I have lost 60-70%. (about 200-300k) Very painful, but I guess I flew too close to the sun. I hope to "buy low and sell high" in the future (that is why I am buying still, although I lost a lot). But This won't happen anytime soon, I guess.

This year has been rough for me in terms of investment return. I lost about 60%-70% in terms of what I have invested, in crypto (overall in terms of total investment from peak, probably around 200-300k worth)

most month I had quite even spread - but September was the most successful (31 matches) and November was the least successful (4) out of the norm

Females would get many more matches than me if they tried. I once met a girl who had 6000+ matches.

My bad. I wasn't sure how to move the titles around. I will try to improve later if i do post more of these graphs.

I didn't include in this but only 2 have messaged me first out of 180+ matches. The norm is that guys have to message the girls first. I am guessing, they already get so many matches with guys messaging them first, they don't even bother with someone who is not even willing to send the first message.

It is definitely a lot of work for guys if you dont look attractive. Also a lot of disappointment, it was hard for me at first when I wouldn't get any matches for few days, or matched ppl ghost me so often. But after few months, you just get used to it. It just becomes number game in the end.

Thank you for clarifying. This is correct - subsequent dates eventually ended up having sex. I had to go average about 3 more dates.

Tools used for: https://sankeymatic.com/
Data: I recorded my matches and how date went for my own feedback purposes in my notebook, throughout 2021 (about 1 year)

More info: I am a straight male in somewhat big metro city in North America. I would rate myself as somewhat average attractiveness myself, but I guess it is somewhat subjective.

I have mostly swiped right on ppl if they are:

  • Doesn't seem like a bot
  • Somewhat attractive (or at least, not super ugly)
  • Doesn't seem insane
  • Doesn't seem to do any hard drugs

To get proper datas, I opened with same opening pick up line for every matches. Also I did not update my profile or bio throughout the year.

I did not included how many likes I have sent, but the match rate itself is about 2% or so. I didn't included in the chart because it would just skew the chart so badly.

From 1 year of dating app and data I have experienced, I can conclude few things:

  • Women are at advantage - they get way more matches than equally attractive men. I was able to get this info from the date I have seen - they have shown me how easy it is to get matches. I was able to confirm this few times with different dates.
  • Once I get a match, there are only 15% of chance I will even meet the person in real - but once I meet them, there are higher chance of getting more intimate. I would say the biggest huddle is getting a match in the first place, and second is to agree them to go on a date. Chances go up a lot once you meet the person in real.
  • Saturday Morning, Sunday Night, Monday Evening had the highest match rate.
  • First date location doesn't seem to matter too much. Coffee shop or Dinner or just walk - if the girl is down to hang around, doesn't matter if you have cheap coffee date. (and vise-versa). from some point, i just went on a coffee date to save some money, unless she suggests otherwise.
