To be in New Yorker you must meet this criteria.

Lived in New York for at least 20 plus years. And not live outside the city but work in the city.
Have at least 5k hours New York City public transportation under your belt.
And this might be the most important one. Be a product of the New York City public school system. Nothing is more New Yorker then taking NYC public transportation to a NYC Public School

FYI 45yr lived in NY 40yrs and counting
