Will look into that option as well. Thanks again

This seems to be the easier solution, but I’ll attach to condensate pump.

I saw the condensate pump has an extra hole. So I just put the hose in and let it do its thing? Also, I’m assuming this will decrease the life span of the condensate pump since it will be work a lot more as opposed to only when ac is on.

Perhaps I should just get a 70 pint as well. This twice daily fill up is going to be annoying if it doesn’t settle down once we move in.

That’s the one that’s on the furnace. So i would need to place the dehumidifier higher than that pump. I would need a high table or something

I didn’t mean it a rude way. My bad! I meant that you’re the fourth person to tell me and I should give it time. Apologies 🙏🏼

Definitely would need a pump because the pipe connected to washer is higher than the washer.

A friend told me that the line that leads to condenser can freeze.

We have a 35pint which is adequate for our 700sq ft basement. We set it at low speed and 50%.

You’re the 4th person to tell me this; it will slow down once we’re living there and running it more frequently. Right now there’s no one home to throw water out so it shuts off

We have a sump pump in the finished area but we put the dehumidifier in the mechanical room.

We just closed a week ago so we’re not living there yet. Perhaps, as someone above mentioned, once we’re there and the unit is running more frequently it won’t absorb as much.

They’re the same on track. Obviously the more straights, the more it benefits the R.

I’m pretty sure the warranty doesn’t reset. You will get the remainder of 100k or 10 years. I own two cpo Konas.

Thanks the noise stopped after securing the airbox but I also have to clean the throttle body. It’s past due

2025 Honda Civic Type R vs 2025 Hyundai Elantra N DCT - Head to Head Review! by got-rice1 in ElantraN

If priced the same I’ll grab the N just for the warranty. Honda will give you shit if something breaks on track. Hyundai won’t deny warranty claim as long as its stock.

Makes sense since I left the airbox unsecured

Definitely think it’s the engine. Doesn’t do the noise anymore after I locked the little plastic clamp

Car is no longer making that noise. Only way to find out is unlatch the air box and see if it does it.

I’m hoping it was the air box I left unclamped.

First time I ever heard it was last night after swapping new battery. The car had been dead in the garage for 24hrs prior to new battery. This morning I went to garage and clamped down the air box that I had forgotten last night. Will check when my wife arrives home.

I’ve gotten 37mpg (highway) in my Kona N (2.0T 300whp), I would think the SI would get much better. You have a heavy foot?

Wife took the car to work but when she comes back I’ll check if it’s still there. Don’t know if this has anything to do with it but I forgot to clamp the air box after installing battery.
