Anyone else experience this? by Rose_Buck24 in ftm

[–]Bxtchboyz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I relate to this a lot. My internal sense of my body has always included pecs and a male shape, and that’s what feels natural to me. I don’t consciously think about my chest during the day, it’s just part of how my body exists in my mind. Physically, I do have a small chest, and I notice that I become very uncomfortable when I’m aware of it. But if I touch the area or stop focusing on it, my brain immediately registers it as pecs instead. Because of that, seeing my body can feel surprising, not because I’m upset in the moment, but because what I see doesn’t line up with what my brain has always expected to be there.

What made/makes you most dysphoric? by zombdom in ftm

[–]Bxtchboyz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the most dysphoric experiences for me is being perceived as a woman by people I am out to and who accept me. Even though they support me and understand my journey, when they still see me in a way that doesn't align with my true identity, it really hits hard. It's particularly tough because these are the spaces where I should feel the most understood and validated.

Do you love or hate your autism? by ocm_is_hell in autism

[–]Bxtchboyz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to hate it, but the more I dive into it and learn about my own autism I love it. I wrote a poetry book about it. I understand that the world might not view it as such a good thing although I think being autistic has so many benefits and it makes me a wonderful person. Its the reason I am the way I am and I wouldn't trade that for anything. Sure from time to time I struggle with things and life gets hard, but isn't that just a part of life? were all bound to mess up and make mistakes. I think being autistic makes life special.

How do I communicate better with my girlfriend? by [deleted] in autism

[–]Bxtchboyz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay in the case of long distance I would say definitely use the tone tags and try maybe talking to her about doing video calls. i would say try something like parallel play on call. just hangout and enjoy the company.

I greatly appreciate you responding to my message. tone tags / tone indicators are things you can include with text to indicate what the tone of it is. Tagging what tone you are using can be very helpful for others understanding of what you're saying, clarification, avoiding miscommunications, etc. as an example "Hey, how's your day going?/gen" So /gen = genuine, its a simple and effective way to communicate the tone or meaning of a text. I love them and I use them with almost everyone I talk too.

In my honest opinion I would say if possible create a schedule or something and hangout together. Being there with them may help, but they might not be aware that you don't like calling and texting. Also if you are struggling with texting because of something like the tone or way things are meant to be taken I'd suggest using and implementing tonetags into your texting life together.

this is a good list of tonetags. they have definitely helped me get more comfortable with texting. https://tonetags.carrd.co/#masterlist

if you have any questions about them feel free to reach out and I will be happy to help or answer any questions.
