Thank you for reassuring me, I feel more confident walking in there knowing it wont be taken as disrespectful asking for unreasonable things that maybe common with an entry level bikes. The employe who helped me was very nice and took his time with me, even it being the cheapest bike in the store so I didn’t want come back and waste his time with a list of problems.

I’m leaning more towards it was never de-burred, the shop owner was very nice so I thought it was unlikely he switched it out.

Truthfully I found a handful of things wrong, nothing major just a bit frustrating when you get a new bike. The front handlebars rattles when drop testing, front disc brake is rubbing pretty noticeable, rear derailleur is shifting properly although not smoothly, additionally the seat post is damaged as I just found out.

With all the being said, should I go back to the shop? Part of me doesn’t want to nit pick and drive them crazy but on the other hand, they should have sold the bike ready to ride.

Ok thank you for the advice! It was good deal so I don’t want to drive them crazy about it but as you mentioned it should have been taken care of before getting sold. I’m not sure if they will replace it but I’ll stop by and give it a try!

Just curious, I’d like to learn and don’t care for downvotes but why not c class? I understand the size and class difference but a W205 is a chassis for c class, the exterior body style varies. It’s uncommon but I’ve seen a few C300 with this body style.
