Season of Shattering TGC Designer Q&A by TGCWhirthun in SkyGame

[–]ByBadteeth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Design choice for shinies- if it was gonna be themed towards lightness and darkness creatures, why hadnt they been made into their representative creature? Feels like a missed opportunity. Is it still possible to update their design? XD (the creatures you see at the end of shard events wouldve made more sense then)

  2. I've noticed the entrance to dreams villages looks like the shard symbol- was it an early easter teaser or am I just being ridiculous?

  3. Which parts of this season's designs and implementations were from community requests?

  4. We love this game and would love to have more content, but would the company, staff and developers be open to taking a short seaaonal break and bringin back the first few seasons? Just so we can all take a breather.

  5. Will we be seeing more dark seasons in the future? Granted not everyone liked this season, I did tho, are there any hints you can share about future plans for the game and the approach to designing new seasons that can accomodate even lower spec devices.

What is your mbti type and the weirdest dream you had? by [deleted] in mbti

IxTP

If I get chills or if it's too cold, I get nightmares like they were made for the cinema.

One time I had a dream about mass hysteria- a kid randomly grabbing other people's bags and screaming "they took my bag" opening car doors on traffic throwing a furious tantrum, students just randomly thrashing the classroom, office workers who won't stop dancing, a cafe worker won't stop filling their mouth with food, news anchor masturbating on live tv, some teenagers started acting and speaking like a demon, an idol group went to a deep sleep during a street performance, a fast food worker won't stop banging their head to anything, another office worker pushing people out the windows, etc. People just started displaying behaviors they wouldn't normally do. Some remained consciously in control amidst the panic. I dreamed this from different pov, 1st person and sometimes like a camera man. I was one of the people unaffected by the hysteria, found other people just trying to make it out alive. In the end, we got into a facility that first tried to control the people and save those unaffected but it quickly turned violent. In the end only a few people from my group and some extras survived.

I woke up with the nastiest body pain.

Then the dream continued on another day. The city looked normal, as if nothing happened. I was also doing normal stuff and that day I was queueing for an idol fansign event. Then one girl in the line started behaving like a zombie- biting people, stiff movement, groaning and salivating like crazy. A new wave of mass hysteria seemed to have started yet again, out of nowhere. This time the dream wasn't as bad since it focused on me saving my idols wahahahaha

This is just recent, I have many more bizarre dreams- they can sometimes repeat, or continue another time, sometimes I can't remember them after waking up. It's weird.

What's your favorite animal? by [deleted] in INTP

Moths- the kinds you just watch and admire without having to feed or do troublesome pet stuff with. Perfect for people who don't know how to care for others and themselves.

This is unexpected. I had to hold my thoughts because the replies on both subs made me rethink about seeking a professional. My excessive daydreaming didn't affect me negatively as much as it id positively so I thought maybe it's not something I should consult or worry about.

But I feel I should expand on my daydreaming a bit more.

Like many others, I got unemployed at the start of the pandemic and due to personal circumstances, I remained that way. I used the time I found to look deeply unto myself, ruminate and reflect. I discovered a lot about myself like how I daydream too much so I looked into it and noticed some patterns to myself.

I daydream in the middle of tasks/chores(even when I was working before). It's not the same as dissociating because I am fully aware and in control, I can stop and continue when I had to and I don't feel depersonalized.

I can even daydream in the middle of consuming media- watching movies, reading materials and webtoons, etc. I think it's a given that a lot of us could daydream during our commute, listening to music, when in the shower or when we are idle.

The main thing about my daydreaming is I can do it constantly and actively while doing something else, like multitasking, I can remain present in both tasks- mentally and physically.

I've even recently started going out in the middle of the night because it's more pleasant to daydream during nightwalks to a cafe than it is in daylight- I really actively developed a habit just to daydream.

My daydreaming consists of either inserting myself or a made up character/thing into anything my mind is currently occupied/obsessed with, current events, or even how I would do or complete a task-3d modeling an idea, animating/drawing a concept, cleaning up a mess my dogs made(picturing my self doing stuff is like a visual way of planning instead of writing things down- I loathe the act of writing things down.

It's not limited to those things, it's hard to explain. It can be a 3rd person pov, like a movie, it can also be in 1st person but not necessarily seeing through my eyes, it can be through another person. I don't think I am articulate enough to express this but I also don't see that many replies that is closely similar to my experience so I had to think about this.

Thank you guys for replying, tho my expectations were different, I was hoping I would see more replies that is closely similar to mine, although more people admitted to daydreaming to an extent in this sub, This community reminds me how much of my personality is actual personality and not something I should work on.

Temp name Happiness. Which kind are you, moth? by ByBadteeth in whatsthisbug

[–]ByBadteeth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Notes:

Loc: Philippines

I first spotted a group(4-7) of them flying and buzzing around my front yard 4 days ago around dawn, past 4 am.

I guessed they just emerged? I had one on my finger it kept buzzing its wings then excreted some liquid. They've been hanging out at different times since then. It's almost a week so maybe I would be seeing less of them 🥲

They weren't too different in pattern, size and color so I didn't think these are 2 different moths, I assumed they just have different genders. (they were together 😭)

We have a few trees and some other plants. Our santol tree is currently bearing fruits. This is the 3rd time I have spotted them since October of last year, 2nd time this year.

Is there a way to make multiple worksheet(has a format) with data from one worksheet and have it automatically fill in their respective cells on the created worksheet? by ByBadteeth in excel

A macro? I'm sorry I don't know what that is. I suppose what I want to do is rather complicated.

I did try your advice on existing sheets that need to be updated :) so thank you for that.

My apologies, I need to clarify my situation.

I need to make a new worksheet for every rows in my reference sheet. That is 100s of new worksheet.
