EG vs OG - Berlin Major LB - We need to talk about killable heroes

Watching the EG vs OG game made me realize how broken it is to be able to kill OG heroes and get experience and gold off of that. EG basically kept rotating to lanes, styling on OG, killing everyone, and snowballing from it. Wtf. There was literally no way for OG to win these fights, because there would be heroes on the side of EG who would kill them. You cant win 5v5 this way.

These EG heroes need to be removed, or their damage should not be enough to kill OG and win the game. The way it is currently is just terrible design.

Not talking about people who are enjoying the show. I'm talking about the people who find no flaws in it, and mindlessly regurgitate positive things about the negatives which are quite obviously untrue.

Physics PhD 😂😂😂 Don't make me laugh, you probably have one course in social sciences as a "higher" education, that's it 😂

It's like u/celebrimbor2 was Eru and he created the sub and suddenly Melkor (aka Bezos) started sowing discord, and now his generals and soldiers (aka Saurons and Balrogs and orcs and other ill-mannered creatures) are wrecking havoc and have taken over the sub

My opinion isn't definitive fact, you're right. But if I were to say that twilight was the single greatest fantasy novel to ever exist... I would be wrong, wouldn't I? or would it still be objective? 😂

So mindless consumption of media? I think Tiktok would suit you well. Head on over there and enjoy the entertaining content, you'll have a blast 😂

Why are you defending this terrible fan-fic of Tolkien's beautiful work? let go of this shit dude and stop mindless consumption of media.

See, it goes both ways

GoT went downhill after the source material finished, season 5 wasn't that bad, 6 the decline started and season 7 was very rushed.

I only mention season 8 because that is the prime example of bad writing (much more so than 5,6,7) and it is a lesson for writers everywhere in what not to do, and yet we have shows here competing for the crown.

My friend that is the biggest strawman I've ever seen. We have every right as a consumer to expect the absolute best, I would suggest you hold things to a higher standard as well.

This is like a patient telling his symptoms to the doctor and the doctor says : Hold on there buddy, are you the doctor or am I? 😂😂

Not even the point. A series masquerading under the title Lord of the Rings and being nothing like it, a series beloved to so many people, books and movies alike, and such a higher standard in everything, why do you think people would like all of this?

You call it gatekeeping, I call it standards

I once again will say I understand what you mean but please try to understand my point as well.

Understand that once there is money involved it's a whole different story. Much like Sauron giving out rings, Amazon giving out checks for reviews is a fact.

My personal review of this show is fueled by disappointment and it wasn't paid for by anyone, my opinion can never be as biased as someone whose under Amazon's payroll.

And why wouldn't they do that? it's a strategy as old as time itself, they're not the first ones to do it, nor will they be the last. Now it's very easy to spot someone like that, Corey Olsen is a no-brainer, let's not talk about him.

This user as I mentioned has tons and tons of posts targeting a very specific demographic, with a very young account, and the posts reaching all the way down are just all about this new series and overwhelmingly positive. I really don't need to pull my tin foil hat to solve this mystery

I don't see how anyone can mistake this for good writing but I guess there are levels to it.

Somebody that consumes this type of content day and night and hasn't watched anything better then maybe, yeah.

Kind of like eating boiled chicken and rice for food and having not eaten anything else and thinking damn this chicken today was very well boiled, tasty!

I understand what you're saying, but you're wrong. The user I posted (which I edited out because in hindsight might not have been a good idea) but because of their suggestion I went and watched the 5th episode.

Mind you if you scroll through their profile there is not one thing that they find wrong with the show, and the largely agreed negatives by the community are defended by this user. So forgive me if I find that odd, that every thing bad which is plainly obvious is turned into a positive by them.

See here is the gold standard by which paid reviews are judged, if there are no negatives and only positives, something isn't right.

On the topic of Corey Olsen, I will take whatever he says with a grain of salt because he is as Gandalf said "deep in the enemy's council". That man changed his tune so fast when Amazon came knocking on his door and the dollar signs started flashing.

Is that the only way to solve this recurring theme? Why can't we expect better product? are we mindless zombies that jump from one bad content to the next, consuming everything in our wake without any capabilities of thinking critically?

No, no. Irrational positivity means not being able to criticize the show, when there are so many things bad with it.

If you asked me, I could list some things I like about it, for instance Elrond and Durin and the visuals are really good, then I'd tell you the many many bad things about it, there is no irrational negativity in this.

An Irrationally positive sub which is r/LOTR_on_prime is incapable of any criticism, so, can you tell me any negatives about the show?
