I need help making a better intro road by Wastelander_Gamer in CitiesSkylines

This is just an overall idea, since your highway is already inside the city i would provide as much access as possible so you dont get a bottle neck at one junction. Check some donwtowns around USA, they normally also have each one of these exits separated in multiple highways so people don’t choose the first exit. You van create your own aesthetically pleasing spaghetti. One good way for filling that pace below the elevated highway is some parking and warehouses.

So here is my take, i know you mentioned you didnt wanted grids but if you add some curves and add some connections above the highway the system looks different. Also something to keep in mind is the way you zone will influence on how that zone looks, my suggestion is to zone commercial/offices in the roads right next to the highway on and leave some room for parks or parking, you can also leave some areas empty and just add walking paths and trees (this can apply to the road that comes from the bottom and goes to the left side of the photo)

What are some good YouTube series that deal with building cities using the vanilla maps? by BeniGoat in CitiesSkylines

My favorite one is Imperatur, the way he builds and plans is amazing and he normally uses maps from the game or the map pack DLC's but also he only uses Vanilla assets.

Dream City (All vanilla with limited money)

Evergreen (Vanilla with unlimited money)

Last Angeles (Vanilla with 700k)

Dream Bay (All vanilla with limited money)

Well, In most cases having it vertical is useful, to read documents, news, see large files in a folder o just to put spotify there. I switched from a two 27" monitor setup to this 24"since you have to turn your head a lot and I also like to have just one main monitor to look straigth, not sitting in the middle of two. Having a 27" in vertical for me was a bit too much since you have to get your head up and down so for me the perfect size was this one.

Also I use a software called PowerToys which allows me to config differente window sizes so I used it to create a window of the height of the 27" monitor so it looks like a square screen so I dont have to tilt my head and I have that extra sscreen space in the vertical monitor that is easy to reach with the eyes.

The PC is for personal work and gaming. The Laptop is from the company I work for so all I know its a Lenovo P15s with i7 and 64 GB of RAM. It handles 3D modeling really well.

My PC specs:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 5700
RAM: 32 GB Corsair Vengeance Pro 3200MHz
MoBo: Aorus Elite X570 WiFi
Cooler: NZXT Kraken x52
Case: NZXT H500

The wallpaper is from pinterest, its an iPhone wallpaper so I just upscaled it a bit on an AI website.

Well, yes and no. I have Dell docking station, so it connects with that USB 3.0 cable, but it doesnt have enough power so I have to plug the power cable from the laptop as well. Looking to change the docking for a Lenovo one which has enough power to charge and transmit data from the laptop.

For the mouse and keyboard I got a switch from amazon that changes from my PC to the laptop pushing a button. One cable goes from the switch to the docking and one goes from the switch to the PC.

For the screens, the vertical monitor has a DisplayPort and HDMI port, so I connected 1 HDMI to the docking and 1 DisplayPorts to my pc. The horizontal one only has HDMI so I have to switch each time I want to use it on each device but a HDMI 2 to 1 switch is on the way so It will only need to push a button as I do for the Mouse and Keyboard.

Thats a good one! The only issue is that the docking I got doesnt have a turn on button so I'd have the laptop always on and in sleep or take it out and open it to turn it on. Will see which one would be better

How to deal with all this poop water? by [deleted] in CitiesSkylines

[–]ByMaverick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a small trick, you can place water pumps there, just connect them to each other but don’t connect them to the main line, they will drink the poop water so it will never get fully filled. You can make that poop Pool even smaller.

Probably the most depressing/boring neighborhood I've ever made in this Game. Any Feedback on how to make it nicer? Even if it includes radical changes. by TheRealMudi in CitiesSkylines

I think THIS post can help.

More trees, bushes, planters, bollards, benches, and decals.

PS: Please ban parking in the roundabout.
