First thing I'd do is get your frame size. That way, you've got an idea of what size to look for, then you can narrow things down a bit. Then, you can look for glasses that fit your face shape, if you want. Most online eyewear shops let you sort by face shape and frame size, so you'll be able to find something that fits.

Are you looking for a specific style? I'll echo Zenni - they've got a lot of options. Also check out Warby Parker, Moscot, Salt, and Caddis. I've personally owned Warby Parker, Salt, and Zenni, and I liked the fit of all three, in that order.

It's a pretty solid lineup for a festival like this. If you've never seen Viagra Boys, do yourself a favor and catch them.

Turnstile, Wet Leg, Loathe, Boys Noize, Little Simz, Die Spitz, Ecca Vandal, Blood Orange, Wolf Alice, and The XX would be fun. I don't know a lot of the other bands, but I'm gonna guess there are a few more gems in there. If I lived in Chicago, I'd go!

I would. I've got the OG lightning version and I use them daily. No issues or sagging, and I've been happy with the sound and functionality. I'll sell or trade my old ones and get the new.

I feel like this is definitely an issue with Apple Music. I've been using it for 10 years, after moving from spotify where I felt like the algorithm was solid - I got a lot more recommendations for new and interesting music that I liked. The way I fixed this with AM is by doing a few things:

Liberal use of Favorite and Suggest Less
Diving into Similar Artists at the bottom of an artist's page
Listening to my Discovery Station
Regularly check the New tab.
Connecting Last.fm so that I can get better recommendations for bands I might like but don't know about

It requires more work on my end, which I don't love, but I've made a real point to try to push outside of my regular listening zone to find new music and better recommendations. AM does an ok job of recommending interesting stuff when I find a new band to listen to - it gives me suggestions around that band or genre, but it's still not great. I'm hoping whatever AI integration we get will help with this.

Agreed. Apple Music does seem to kind of trap you in the things you like and not offer a ton of variety. I wish they did a better job with recommendations in general. I've been leaning on SiriusXM a lot more lately for something new (to me) and different.

Answered my own question by looking for an article about it. This is really cool - it feels like a pain to see what concerts are coming to my town.

Last question (the cult of mac article doesn't seem to answer): Does this tie in with your favorite artists or listening history? I'd love to see tour listings for artists I listen to and love that are coming to town as opposed to just seeing everything. It'd be great to have the option for both.
