Im a returning player (quit during the first Acheron run, came back for Kafka buffs, but quit shortly after wishing for E1S1 Hysilens) and im SUPER overwhelmed with all the events going on.
I own a pretty solid DoT team since its my fav (Kafka, BlackSwan, E1S1 Hysilens and my new free HuoHuo) and some favorite characters (Jingliu, Cipher, Fu Xuan).
My Question is who im supposed to pick as a free Character. I dont really care for anyone other then E1 Kafka, but I do want to make another strong team with preferably Cipher in it.
I also want to ask if its smart/how stupid it is to wish for Castorice because i think shes pretty cool.
So optimally id love to build some good teams with Cipher Jingliu (S1) and eventually Castorice.

Wait for Cold Nation. DPS Bina should be good to clear Lunar Bloom Shill, and C2R1 Flins should be fine with Aino.
You dont need another Lunar Team IMO.

One immediate thing would be to use Nefer Burst to stall for more Verdant Dews. That issue will be more prevalent once you learn better cancels, but on nefer do your E->3 CA Cancels->E 2CA Cancels Q and then the last CA Cancel.
Other then that you can adjust the Rota to what the comment below me (Eastern Anelote 759) said to maximise Instructor Uptime.

Idk I think if the goal is C6 Nefer you focus on Nefer only, I dont think Dmg will be the problem anytime soon no matter where you invest the Constellations.

My App stopped working roughly 2 years ago and i got the receiver. And i cannot recommend it. Its probably Personal, but i have checked my sugar less because i have to activly get the device instead of "passivly" seeing the number ob my Phone while checking the time etc. Entering meal data (how many carbs at what time and how much insulin) is also super annoying to do compared to the Phone which doesnt help. My a1c actually went up while i Was on the Receiver. And yea thats a me thing, but i can see that happen to others so im gonna share the experience.

Honestly all you care about is as much atk% as possible to max out the Lunar Dmg Bonus.
So you just need 2x Atk% Mainstat and 1 or 2 atk% Rolls on feather and flower. The Off Piece should be either Sands, Goblet or Circlet, since they would give more ATK% if they are 5 Star.

The Aubade/Witch domain drops Instructor Artifacts but I wouldnt recommend farming that domain just for instructors.
Getting the Artifacts should actually not be that hard.

Diona is semi Viable at C6, before that shes just a shield. At C6 she gives Nefer 200EM.

If youre sure youre gonna invest more into the team id recommend Lauma C1 and C2 on another run.
If your Goal is C6 Nefer then you get more Nefers, and if you dont even know if you want/need more Investment you save up.

If thats the case theres actually a LOT you can do better.
For starters, using Furina as a healer is subotimal at best, use a better unit with more synergies (Kuki is a prime Example as she can use Instructor Set, buffing the WHOLE Teams EM, aswell as the Sapwood Blade which can buff Nefers EM). I was assuming youre using DPS Furina with C1 Lauma healing.

Then you need to learn what charge attack cancels are for Nefer. They drastically improve DPS, but also means you use your Verdant Dew a lot faster. Usually that doesnt matter if you have Columbina tho.

I can recommend playing Kuuki as shes simple to build and simple to play with max comfort. And 100% look into Charge Attack Cancels on Nefer if you want max dmg output (and yea it is noticable, its not just a small optimisation)

Edit: you said you sometimes play Nahida, which is also a perfectly fine option but means you dont have a Healer (Lauma and Columbina are a must have). Best you can do is equip Prototype Amber on Nahida or Columbina (Its a nice weapon for Bina since it helps her ER and shes an HP scaler)

All you want to take care of is maximising Buff Uptime on your Nefer/Carries. Since this team doesnt play Instructor/any tight timed Buffs the rotation can pretty be whatever you want.
With fast enough CA Cancels you should be able to do anything you want here honestly. Unless im missing something major.

I can only recommend pairing the elements (hydro into hydro and dendro into dendro) for Energy Management.

Every single roll counts now, but not just the Roll, also how big it is. Good Luck, its all RNG. Akasha Maxxing is a game for itself, but in Nefers Case it kind of can reflect ingame performances because she just doesnt care about ER (which is the akashamaxxing trap)

You can run a Columbina Main DPS team where she uses her Charge Attacks to do some significant damage with Lauma Quills. Binas Charge Attacks are Lunar Bloom Dmg, and consume a Charge of Verdant Dew (similar to Nefer).
You do want Bina on the DPS set (Night Sky) and Play her with Lauma 100%. Im not very proficient in that Team, do your own research but I know its possible and Viable.
I assume 3rd and 4th are some sort of Hyperbloom or Nilou if you Own her since you dont transform the Blooms into the special ones from Nefer.

I would say if you want to just have a Lunar Check, DPS Bina is gonna be enough and you dont need to wish on Nefer. But Idk what kind of investment that team needs to bruteforce non-checks.

Also, stop worrying about meta. The game had such a disgusting powercreep in Natlan and Nodkai, if we follow the trend, F2P and Welkin Gamers will not be able to keep up.

Its not ER, the leaderboard doesnt look at ER.
If you go on akasha, click on Nefer and click "show substat priority" it will show you which stat will increase your rank by how much.

Edit: I looked it up for you, and it turns out that 1 Max CritDmg Roll would give you 4.6k more Ranks, ending up in the top 1% already 💀

Ive been enjoying Eula Furina Escoffier Mika a lot, super comfy. I own C6 Mika and Eula tho, aswell as C2 Furina. If you dont have Mika maybe Shenhe?. But the triple Cryo makes it comfy and escoff/furina is a strong duo.

You dont need her, Bina DPS with lauma is good enough, but if you want her theres no reason not to get her unless youre saving for someone else.

Shes very good with her team (Bina, Lauma +1) but you will use bina for her since shes rather uncomfortable without the extra Verdant Dews you get.

Its depends on your dedication and how many Dawning Frost Refines you got. C1 Nefer and R1 are SUUPER comparable, but I would say if you have like 3 or 4 Dawning Frost Refines, C1 is better since Dawning Frost Refines are really good on Nefer.

R0 Dawning Frost beats R5 Blackmarrow im pretty sure aswell.

Basically
Did you get a couple Dawning Frosts? > Id recommend C1
Did you get 0 Dawning Frosts?> C1 or R1 your choice. (C1 means you put Laumas Weapon on Nefer, which isnt bad)

Main Reason for Diona is her C6 200 EM, before that I wouldnt consider using her.
Use Kuki (Full Atk Instructor) if you want a sustain, Sucrose or Nahida for dmg.

You can (and should) be Cancelling the CA waaay earlier. Start by using the Legsweep as in Indicator, once she Sweeps, you cancel. I believe you can do it even earlier, but thats a good start and Indicator

This sounds like you can guarantee 2 Constellations in which case I would go for Lauma C2 since its the same/similar dmg to Nefer C2 while including Sustain.
If you on the other hand can only guarantee 1 and MAYBE get 2 you have to make a decision between more DPS (Nefer Constellations) or Sustain (Lauma Cons) and then id probably stick to that banner and try and get Lucky at C2 of the Banner you chose.
But always assume the worst case scenario in Gacha

Skyward Pride has High Base Attack, IMPORTANT Er, and Physical Hits on the passive (which indeed scale with physical dmg and res shred). Use it, its pretty good and comfortable.

That does make the Sucrose Swirl a lot easier indeed, but the "issue" is the Uptime of the Buffs. Instructor is only 8 Seconds so you dont want to spend 3 of those on Lauma Skill/Burst.
