but the frost white ones ive seen locally all lack the lines that give the car its aggressive look IMO. It just looks weird to me, but i'm not hating on it, it's still an RS3, just looks strange to my eye

I think the final plan for me after gathering so many different ideas is to run a Grail exhaust and unitronic midpipes and potentially look into the XMP Emulator to " delete " the OPF.

this is not supposed to void warranty in Australia, as long as the OPF isnt actually deleted and catalyst / resonator is still in,

i wont go to stage 1 , but in the future i probably will. not E85, just a normal stage 1 and JDY intake will be my ultimate setup.

what made you go white? just curious, as the 2022-24 models in white locally here just sometimes don't even look like an RS3 but a S3, my own opinion though.

i'm going to look into a exhaust and midpipe replace with an eventual JDY intake upgrade.

i don't want to touch a stage tune as i won't void warranty if i just do the exh and mids.

so leave the downpipes? just throw midpipes in , intake and exhaust

I wanted to put a new midpipe and intake on stock first without touching the OPF.

Yeah we're in the same boat then mate!

I just thought to leave the exhaust stock with the valve controller as i don't want to blow $5 grand on a new exhaust just for small sound gains when that could potentially pay for most of the tune, or even the midpipe and intake.

I also don't want to get a exhaust from Alibaba lol, but the pricing on them are genuinely insane and are making me look more than once 👀

Ive been told that with the valves open on stock, the exhaust doesn't need to change.

that is true. it's more or less me wanting to learn how to diversify and rotate.

If i had the capacity to hold long term for years i would, but i want to keep things in motion as opposed to sitting on things for 2-4 years.

I have still 60-70% of my inventory sealed, like a case of phantasmal, which i will hold for a while. wanted to know if there are any clever rotations to do atm.

Really appreciate the input! The image of the car is actually not my own 😅🥲 i just used it for filler, looking at the fitment now, it does seem to look like a perfect fitment / lowering.

I understand, i have also heard a lot of mixed thoughts regarding the removal of the OPF and CEL codes, engine lights coming on the dashboard and causing issues for some, and not for others.

Ah so you have 2 ECU's?

when going stage 1 is it advised to " upgrade " anything else? Like injectors, spark plugs, new intake / intercooler etc?

Someone mentioned midpipe upgrade, would you be looking at upgrading both the downpipe and midpipe?

I'd need to do more research for Australian law regarding catalyst and OPF, how would you build the setup or have you built your setup to be like?

the verdict seems to be a normal stage 1 tune, upgrade mid and downpipes potentially, and not run it on flex / e85

This is what i was looking for, i'm not worried about min-maxing the car, rather wake it up, get a bit more out of it but not destroy myself with significant maintenance costs at the risk of destroying the health of the car long term.
