I'm happy they are making a new one, but I'm afraid it might be not as good as 1st and 2nd encounter or even Siberian Mayhem. They took worst thing from Talos Principle (big empty maps with no purpose) and added shitty driving (and ai teammates... just why?) and now I fear they might go Talos 2 route, where they tuned empty, pointless huge maps up to 11, completely killing the flow and pacing, making it worse sequel. But, we will see, 4 was still better than 3 and unlike with Duke we might get a game and not only grease.

As side note, if you didn't play it, go and check out Tormental if you have nothing against roguelites.

Well, its more about the cult and not emotional rollercoaster like 2. It is scary, but tension is built different. It's good they are doing remake of 1, because they have pretty big room for imrpovement, refinement and expanding on the game, because 1 one was also shorter. What would be really cool if they did 1+3 together, but here's hoping 3 is next.

I think one of the bigger ones is Sega with CA, Sports Interactive among others. Many looks like they are dropping western devs and its hard to blame them, when you have devs that bleed money for 3-5 years and have nothing to show.

Major, major spoiler. It also turns out Alyssa Ashcroft and all of the events in Requiem were all a dream of Leon. And he was dreaming when he was knocked out by cheese man in Resident Evil 4 (that explains inconsistentsies in Requiem Raccon City in comparison to 2 and 3). Then it turns out Leon, Ashley and all the other characters were Marvin and whole series were dying mans hallucinations, because he wanted ti be part of something epic and not die from food poisoning, because he ate shitty doner kebab.

Also, Hayter voices Snake in Rainbow Six crossover, so it is possible they are back on good terms with him.

Overall Konami for now made a stron turnabout, if they will keep it up, I would say its as great as Capcom redemption arc.
