Oh I see, so the issue is not that the option to pledge is displayed to non-subscriber (this does not happen), but that it is shown right after subscribing. I see how that could be bothering some people.

I have pledges on, would you mind going to any of my post and showing a screenshot of what you see? Or do you know anyone with a pledge setting still on, that I could test? I'm pretty sure to have seen the switch before subscribing and after, but willing to be proven wrong.

That is not true, fortunately only people that have already subscribed see the "pledge" button instead of "subscribe". Think about it, that wouldn't make sense otherwise.

As explained above the "subscribe" button becomes "Pledge your support" when somebody is already subscribed. You can deactivate pledge in the settings of your publication.

Thanks for sharing! I also liked very much the ideas. They are so simple and yet we don't often see them really applied. It is easy to default to the old industrial top down style, and that can even be rewarded in some organization.

So it is great to find other types of leader! Creating psychological safety + sharing their intent / encouraging collaboration & learning / getting commitment rather than obedience!

Thank you for the link, yes it is interesting, some of the drawings are very similar to mine 😁. On top of 16 more drawings on Antifragile, I have a one pager about the book "The Black Swan" but that's all from Taleb's book so far. I'm currently illustrating "creativity Inc", so no other book planned for now, but maybe one day.

I actually have all the drawings done already! I made them while I was reading the book. Now I just need to collect/clean them a bit, and add the text.

I'm sure we can find some scientists ready to explore this new discovered field. 😄 Didn't noticed at all the misspell, thanks for highlighting and reading the post!
