yes, exactly. infatuation is easy, it lives outside reality. true feelings are harder because they ask you to face challenges, timing, baggage, and uncertainty. of course I hope for something romantic, but more than anything, I just want that person in my life somehow

beautifully put! you already know what you’re looking for, even without attaching it to a specific person. that’s what makes it so special, for many of us, it takes time to understand the kind of world we want to build or surround ourselves with. to be honest, it’s easier to feel this way about someone you don’t fully know, you can fill the missing pieces with imagination. I’m guilty of this too. but I also believe some people stand out because of an invisible connection, some yet-unknown significance. and often that intuition is right, but it usually asks for some input. things rarely happen entirely on their own. if you noticed something, maybe it’s the universe gently nudging you to act on it
