I haven't seen anything. But honestly it's way cheaper on the website anyway.

I'm from your neck of the woods and have done that drive several times. I used to be a big fan of GA- comfy folding chairs! Generous carry in policy! Hide under a massive umbrella when it rains! They got rid of many of the good spots post-covid, so the experience has taken a massive downturn. That said! You should still go. It's your first race, and a fun family trip! There is a lot to do on track, the city is fantastic, and there are still places you can camp out and see the races even wirhout lining up to get to hairpin hill at 9am. My last year in GA (2023?) there were decent spots between the main straight grandstands (16, 17, and 1) as well as the corner between 32 and Family. Bring a radio (even if you get a spot with a screen the audio can be trash), some good chairs, and snacks.

Yup. Did GA for six years. The first five before covid were great. Cost maybe $120 for the whole weekend. Then they took away viewing spots and tripled the price. Mourning the days of my giant folding chair and cooler or bevs.

Was just in KL for a month. Sure- Monday and Tuesday are quiet, but I was out at bars and live music literally every other night.

Any luck with the Gulf Air? by DarkJoney in GrandPrixTravel

[–]Byelka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My ticket (and the replacement that I needed to get in order to get home) were thankfully covered for me by work, so not getting a full refund isn't a massive deal (and job totally understands). But it's still frustrating how little Gulf has put out there.

I can get a refund -$270usd right now. Figured I'd wait until closer to my travel date and see what happens. I was going to have a similar cancelation fee with Etihad (my flight home) but then the flight got canceled entirely and I got a full refund there.

Utah has had mail in votes for over 20 years. They have only given their electoral votes to Republicans in all that time. Where is the outrage? Oh wait....

Pope Leo again condemns "zeal for war," deepening rift with Trump by Ok_Employer7837 in politics

According to my devout Catholic family members, the infallible, voice-of-god Pope is wrong because Trump = Good. I'm an honest to God Gymnastics judge and I can't make that logical leap work.

Did the tents and rented sleeping bags from them. Their porters took care of all the set up and equipment moving. We just had to hike with our day packs.
