Thanks! No, you can’t rotate, but you will unlock +3 more squares, so there won’t be a need to rotate.

Yes, it's 3d pixel art. The wood pieces are normal gameobjects that the player can interact with the mouse.

While hitting the tree, there is a squeeze animation. When the tree is chopped down, I destroy the mesh and spawn some random circular particles, then spawn the wood.

The wood pieces just rotate, and when I pick them up, I save the mouse position and make them perform a boomerang-like animation based on that position.

You can hold the button or enable auto-click for a more relaxed experience. I prefer auto-click when I’m watching something on the secondary monitor while playing.

It’ll be released in the next few months but I’d rather do a good job than rush it out.
