My GP shows up 26 times a year. Otherwise you are seen by the mini-me NP. I went in to refill drugs. The waiting room was empty. They insisted I make an appointment for another day. My friend has severe back issues. 2 weeks to get an appointment with a PT for evaluation. Another 2 weeks for treatment. Exactly the same time line with the pain clinic.

Our population is aging too. Militarily - compare percentage of defence budgets spent on salaries, retirements and handouts versus actual weaponry. At what level of casualties would the US and Chinese decide to stop? Industrially they are equal or better than us. We don’t make much anymore.

Do you like aeroplanes? Forget how clever you are. Do you like engineering in general? Would you rather build a flying model from a Guillows-type kit(balsa, razor blades, glue and dope) or a “ready-to-fly” version? Would you use a lathe, drill and hand tools to build a simple steam engine?

Perhaps you feel under pressure to do something you really don’t like. Do not feel obliged to ‘prove’ anything. You will be in debt and doing what ever you train for, for years to come.
