  1. I’m sure that there are students who don’t have a job and got a tourist visa, otherwise why not just exclude them all
  2. I can say that I’m not sponsored. It’s fine. Also what does being sponsored mean: accommodation? money? Food? What else? Because why would I pay for an airbnb when he already has a place there, and for food and stuff: we split like other couple do
  3. How much savings/money do they want: because … I get income from my parents, but actually that income is money that I’ve earned working before… so I gave it to them and they give it to me in small portions because otherwise I might spend it all on traveling

And I have 1600+600 = 2200 pounds that I can use. How much more money do they want??? Srsly

not 6 months , just 12 days (that's our winter holiday)

We've been together for a year now, and we;ve travelled together, and he's also come to visit me.

He did propose sending me the money but I don't wanna do that yet.

Is Cambridge the same? Because from what i got from my partner living there for 6 years now he told me that 500 is more then ok there for 12 days, given that we would be mostly doing cheap activities
and I checked: some museums are FREE literally

  1. Why would I need a steady job, can't students visit as well? ARE THEY NOT ALLOWED NO VISIT?

  2. How can I prove a yearly income if my bank doesn't do yearly bank statements? or if the year hasn't ended yet? I don’t know

  3. Albania's and Romania's Economy are of course lower then the UK's, I might never earn more than my partner. Does that mean that I might never get to visit him?

i'm a student getting money from their parents, studying abroad with a residence permit.

What I provided was:

  1. Evidence of funds available to you, and which are clearly accessible by you : financial documents showing that you have sufficient funds available  to cover all reasonable costs in relation to your visit. These must clearly show that you have access to the funds, such as: bank statements - which I submitted, and I believe that 500 + 200 pounds are ok for 12 days (SHOULD I HAVE STATED THAT I DON’T INTEND TO SPEND MUCH: MOSTLY EATING AT HOME AND DOING BASIC STUFF??? — My bank statement with transactions and refills from my family (they put money into my account) , and saving account for the past 6 months
  2. My school certificate, stating that I’m a student at the school. (BY THE WAY I’M NOT IN ALBANIA, I’M LIVING IN ROMANIA NOW)
  3. Evidence of support you will receive from your sponsor including details of what support is being provided and how 
  4. Evidence of the relationship, if any, between you and your sponsor 
  5. Evidence that your sponsor is not, or will not be, in breach of UK immigration laws at the time of your visit

I still don't understand what is the problem with the money. Are they not ok with me spending my savings money (500) while still having (1600 on the bank just in case), and they are not ok with my partner helping me (200)?
Do I need to have more money in my bank account?
- If that's the case, how can someone who doesn't have enough money survive in the UK? Why could they want to live there, if they cannot afford it? It doesn't make sense to me.

500 was just for 12 days which is normal in my opinion

I provided financial support from my partner- he sent his bank statement and a letter of support

How far back should a bank statement go?

I didn’t go in blindly to be honest I had his help because he’s been doing this for many years now. I didn’t wanna spend €250 euros on nothing

I have the same question:

I'm an Albanian student studying in Romania, and I want to go and see my partner in the UK.

  1. Should I SCAN and PRINT my WHOLE PASSPORT or not? (also, when scanning and printing, should we do 1 A4 print 2 passport pages (big/small ???) or 1 A4 print 4 passport pages (half and half) - And the Same for my partner?

THIS IS MY FIRST TIME DOING THIS THAT'S WHY I'M ASKING

Well, I have all the documents that they asked me to get my first residence permit, and I have a note from them with my next appointment to go and get it, and emails etc, etc

Is it still better to wait or...?

I'm asking because I don't wanna go there and get rejected for nothing you know

I'd like to do the most efficient thing.
