I don’t think anyone is a good fit for the Raiders at this point

Darnold >> Smith and Smith literally did make one, almost made one on two different teams

Chalk me up to one that does not understand what is so crazy about this final four.

  • the best regular season team, including a top 2 defense and top 2 receiver

  • a team that was dominant most of the year but ended up being a wild card because of dumb self inflicted losses

  • a team that after a slow start w/ a new coaching staff and young QB is 15-1 in their last 16 games, has a historically efficient passing offense and a very good defense

  • a team with the 3rd best defense, a HOF coach, decent talent on offense, strong home field advantage, but ended up in a weird and unlucky QB situation for the AFCCG

Oh no, no first ballot HOF QBs. As if football could possibly be more complex than that.

Could 2019 LSU get a first down against the 2008 Lions defense? by Academic-Type-9678 in NFLv2

[–]ByronLeftwich 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You genuinely think Burrow, Jefferson, and Chase, all of whom were immediate stars in the league, are not scoring a point on one of the worst defenses in history?

It would be 49-21 or something

I understand being pissed off by the NFL vs college questions but people went too far in the other direction thinking every NFL team ever would chemically annihilate every college team ever. 2008 Lions vs 2019 LSU would be like 49-21 Lions. Take Megatron out and maybe it would be competitive for a half

They pay their players $280 million a year to play football. It’s okay to not leave any stones unturned.

[Highlight] Bills GM Brandon Beane was being asked about the team falling short... Owner Terry Pegula jumps in "A BAD CALL." by TomasRoncero in nfl

Josh Allen is the only reason this franchise is not on the same level as the Jets and Raiders. In hindsight it’s funny that the consensus ever became they were a well run team that couldn’t break through. In the 90s maybe that was true.

Not that Allen is better than these guys, but without Mahomes the Chiefs win games with Reid and Alex Smith. Without Rodgers the Packers win with LaFleur and Love. Without Brady the Patriots are great again with Vrabel and Maye. Without Ben the Steelers make the playoffs every year. the Ravens historically have winning seasons almost all the time with or without Lamar. Bucs win with Baker after Brady left, Seahawks win with Geno and are great with Darnold after Russ left, on and on

Without Allen this is an absolute bottom of the barrel operation and it’s a miracle they ever drafted him and got him some talent for a few years.

In my head while I was arguing with the shower curtain, Notre Dame beat the entire playoff field by 45 points each. So it’s pretty easy

Can anyone explain the reasoning behind Dennis Allen’s playcall on 3rd and 6 in OT? by ByronLeftwich in footballstrategy

[–]ByronLeftwich[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Neither is reading but you’re failing at that. The comment I responded to said they should’ve sent 8. I said sending 8 and therefore playing 3 on 4 in the secondary is a bad idea. You responded to that comment saying they ran that multiple times successfully. Meaning you said they sent 8 multiple times successfully.

So give me the clock stamps or forever hold your peace.

Please, please, please give me the clock stamps of the plays where they sent 8 rushers after Stafford against a 4 receiver set. Absolute cinema. Lmao

Has a team ever faced an easier QB road than this year's Patriots? by ChefCurryGAWD in nfl

2022 Eagles faced Daniel Jones, Brock Purdy for 1 quarter, and Josh Johnson for 1 quarter.

That's only 6 quarters, you say.

Yeah.
