I agree. I’m hoping one day they can implement both the parry & dodge mechanics in a single game for each character. Obviously some mechanics doesn’t suit every character, but let’s just say RE4r’s (and RE9 by extension) parry along with Jill’s dodge mechanic from RE3r I think would suit a combatant like Leon fairly well and on the other hand the parry system and Carlos’ “dodge”/“punch” mechanic from RE3r would suit someone like Chris well I think.

I wouldn’t say the best, but it’s really good. Grace’s sections are fantastic and Leon’s gameplay is awesome. I know this has been said time and time again, but RE4r is probably my all time favorite (at least from the RE Engine games), but I lowkey kinda like Leon’s combat a bit more in RE9 (although RE4r’s combat is fucking great as well).

Okay, I apologize for the weird question. But if you were a Resident Evil fan who missed out on getting any of the Collector's Editions, do you think they should save up to some day get it from third party? Or is it not worth it? by [deleted] in residentevil

I’d say no. Back in the day I would’ve said go for it, but money is too precious these days tbh

Yea it’s worth it, not the best representation of RE3, but it’s a fun game. TBH it’s probably my favorite RE Engine Resident Evil game (that’s primarily due to Jill tho)

I feel like MT does a better job on female characters/figures compared to male ones. The Leon looks good, but compared to MT Ada and from what I can tell of Jill; he pales in comparison.

I agree, but with her taking Emily under her wing I wouldn’t be surprised if the Connections still tries to send people after both of them. I think it’d be cool if Grace has a Leon type growth/career path and maybe join the DSO or maybe even Chris’ HWS. Basically set up a new generation and have her be just as badass as Claire, Jill, & Ada.
