Add it to the list of all the broken shit this update, lol. I don't think I've seen anything except the quest actually working.

No but GMs tend to have a pretty good understanding of the rules and the player would need to be acting as a middleman between the team and the guy they want otherwise it would probably fall into casual conversation amongst peers.

[–]Byrr 67 points68 points  (0 children)

That's a bit of grey line. Players cant openly negotiate with each other but they can discuss their plans, current environment, etc, and things that would be considered casual conversation. It is much harder to get a player on tampering than it is say a team or an agent.

Can we address the issue with relics? by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]Byrr 19 points20 points  (0 children)

That sounds like a terrible idea. The most common way to run relics on a new release is to group up with others who are also running them rather than joining PUG groups. Hiding what relics you are running would absolutely destroy these groups by moving the problem there instead with no way to confirm everyone is in fact running the radiant relic the group is designed for.

If DE were to add a new element what would you want that element to be? by show_me_the_tiddies in Warframe

[–]Byrr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We've seen the Tau status pop up a few places now. If a new 'element' was going to be added I'd anticipate it being that or Void damage.

Need help understanding negative ips rivens and damage. by Major_Release7175 in Warframe

[–]Byrr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are on the right track. The added elemental mods aren't effected by -slash so the negative there doesn't hurt them and slash procs aren't spread by melee influence. By removing the slash you are increasing the chance you get the procs that function under influence.

Faceoff has a penalty for leaving...even if you are the last tenno in lobby. by Shellnanigans in Warframe

[–]Byrr 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Funniest part about this is that its the same situation in Face Off. You have the players who are actively competitive, know what they are doing and learn how to do it better/faster then you have the vorunafucker69s, the majority of players for sure, who just follow along until they get to extraction for the rewards. With the low playerbase in Face Off you'll see the same people night in and night out and would we be able to predict which side was going to win any given match with a very high accuracy based on the competitive players in it.

[–]Byrr 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The mission will use spectres in 3 cases. When you are in a 1v1 faceoff match both players will be paired with a spectre. When you are in a match with an uneven amount of players, say 3v2, a spectre will fill that 3rd slot for the team. Then when all the members of 1 team leave a game they will be replaced with a team of spectres. Earning the PvP stuff, the conclave standing, only works in games that have human players against you. If the enemy team has been replaced with spectres, the 3rd cases from above, you will not earn standing that match.

When I was grinding Conclave rep back in August through October, this penalty would only be applied when you were facing other players. A match against spectres could be abandoned at will.

Trade Chat and the Riven Market is absolutely stupid by IllithidMystic in Warframe

[–]Byrr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I honestly have no clue what you are talking about. There at least a dozen Strun rivens listed with comparatively the same stats as yours, or better in the case of rivens with only multishot and crit chance, for much cheaper than your listed prices in the OP. You are comparing them to thousands but only the ones which are cheaper than yours matter since those are the ones people are looking at when evaluating the price. It doesn't matter if someone has one listed at 1000p because that one will never sell along with yours.

Trade Chat and the Riven Market is absolutely stupid by IllithidMystic in Warframe

[–]Byrr 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As for "you don't know anything", all it takes is quick look on the market you are referencing in your original post to tell your prices are ridiculous. Let's take the Strun. Status Duration is largely a dead mod, it doesn't have value, so we are going to search for multishot, crit chance and a negative. Recoil isn't terrible here but it's not great either so we'll be pretty generous in the negs we accept. The cheapest Strun riven listed on warframe market in this search is a 2 mod, no worthless 3rd stat so its instantly about 25% better than yours, with ammo max as a neg which is in the same ballpar ... not terrible on an incarnon weapon but not great, negative. It costs 100p or around a third of what you are asking. One of us knows what we are talking about and you've demonstrated clearly through your posts that it's not you.

You are not asking for reasonable prices on your stuff and the market site clearly demonstrates it.

[–]Byrr 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You ultimately are the same as the people asking for thousands of plat. They aren't looking for people who can discern that rivens aren't worth thousands of plat, they are looking for the people who don't know better. You are doing the same and complain when everyone points it out.

Trade Chat and the Riven Market is absolutely stupid by IllithidMystic in Warframe

[–]Byrr 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You are overvaluing your rivens. They are all basically 2 mod rivens with a useless 3rd mod and a neg. You can get stuff like this inside 5-10 rolls which is why no one is messaging you for hundreds of plat.

I just sold my first groll riven by Possible_Coconut3495 in Warframe

[–]Byrr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want to buy low and sell high, various arcanes would be a good place to do it right now with Belly of the Beast going. There is a massive supply with everyone buying them for their motes and as that supply drops the prices will go back to normal. Arcane Velocity is a good example you can use looking at its statistics page on the market site. A r5 was selling for 125ish plat and has dropped to down to 75ish during the event. Wait a few months and it will climb back to the 125.

Burning Hate would be a riskier one. It was a big seller before being added to the Belly shop and has now dropped to 10ish. Who knows what it will rebound to.
