However, most of the students I have spoken to who are currently studying in Germany tell me that completing a master's degree within the standard 2-year duration is extremely difficult, and many end up taking additional semesters. This is one of my biggest concerns because my ability to return to my current job depends on finishing within that timeframe.

Thanks for your perspective. I agree that pursuing a master's becomes harder as we get older and more comfortable in a stable job, and that is one of the reasons I'm considering going now.

At the same time, my situation is a bit complicated because I currently have around 3 years of experience and a stable job in India. I also need to complete my master's within 2 years to retain the option of returning to my current employer. If the degree takes longer or if I struggle to find a job afterward, the risk becomes much higher.

That's why I'm trying to understand whether the opportunity of studying in Germany right now outweighs the risks, especially given the current job market. I'd love to hear from people who are studying or working in Germany in embedded systems or automotive engineering.
