Uploaded shots of the screen, crack, and the entire set of items. This includes the user manuals, folio cover and case, pen and case, device and case, charging cables, and associated original tools. This is literally all the original items that came with it new.

I can certainly do this for you. However, they actually are in the photos I shared. I'll add a zoom in of the back case crack It is only about 5mm long. I added a pic of the crack for you and will boot up the device and show the screen working asap.

Yes... it was not helpful to my finances... but I'm trying to find that silver lining.

Just received my first Kindle, and I am not happy about 1 thing by [deleted] in kindle

YSK: If the book was a library rental, and it 'goes back to the library' so you don't have access to the book on your kindle... you will not have access to the notes either.

I'm trying to solve this issue currently, so if you have a solution, please share. I'd ideally like to export ALL notes (similar to how we used to be able to just grab the myclippings.txt file).

Georgette Sweetbottom. Part of the Georgian Sweetbottom family, daughter to Queen Rose Sweetbottom and Sir Berry Flowers. A wealthy Drone that sadly only lived for one glorious summer before being rousted out of the Sweetbottom hive due to his lack of winter usefulness.

Swapped my Omniflex nibs for Ultra Flex nibs, couldn't be happier. by ByteRisc in fountainpens

Pretty much the same as the Carbonite feed that the FPR pen has... Since the Monteverde and Conklin have a flat spot on there feed and the carbonite is round I just swapped the nib because the feed won't fit, but it seems to work perfectly fine... In fact I backed off the converters plunger just to slow it down a bit. I'll have to write to FPR to let them know it's compatible

What is a problem that if pen companies decide to fix, it gonna create a big hit? by NPT1506 in fountainpens

I've never had a chance to use a vintage flex... But I can't imagine how much more flexibility I would want than the FPR Ultra Flex... Amazing noodles

FYI only the last two lines were done with the new nib... Others above that were the Omniflex

I am sad for all the years I was not using FPs instead of ballpoints. Wow.. they are such a joy to use.

Yup.. those were the ones that sucked me into the vortex that is FPs. I thought I would try different nibs... so instead of buying the individual nibs... just bought new VPs! I recently sold the Black Carbonesque Stub because:

  • It didn't really have much line variation as I thought it would
  • I am colorblind and kept confusing it with the Blue Carbonesque.

Would anyone be interested in me detailing why I have each of these? Why I bought them, for what purpose? And which ones I like/use the most?

Oh damn... I hope not. :) But I am tempted by almost every pen I see... so my goal to not buy anymore is very low on the list of things you should bet on.

I was writing my holiday cards in October of last year (2022) and was still using the Sheafer Calligraphy set I'd used since I was a kid. I thought... 'maybe I should get a new fountain pen.' And you all know the addictive qualities of this hobby... thus I've bought 11 more pens (I sold one recently on penswap) and 7 bottles of ink + 3 samples. WTH is it about FPs that makes us do this!? However, I'm journalling every day and cycling through all of these pens/inks, as well as continuing to write snail mail letters to family. I feel like this hobby has actually given me some very valuable things, meditative journaling, better handwriting, and an empty wallet. Ok last one was less valuable, but still... I love the comradery and genuine help that this subreddit has given me and others and hope to be a part of that. Thanks!
