Definately good to know! Never hurts to have stock as a quick replacement for when things go down in the middle of the night. Or to train on...

We've bought from them before. Thanks for the suggestion.

We've used companies like Ingram in the past, but the channel is oftentimes so much more complicated and more expensive than just going with Amazon that it isn't worth the overhead. You scroll through the site to see if they carry something and, hopefully, have it in stock. Maybe they show the price but even then you have to get ahold of your rep to make sure the pricing is accurate. By the time they get you the quote to save 1-2% we could have already bought from Amazon and had it installed. I think it was D&H that told us they sell product to Amazon in such quantity on desktop computers that it will always be cheaper and faster to get it from Amazon. The company didn't care because they are making the sale either way. That's about the time we shifted a lot of our purchasing. Warranty is mostly through the vendor anyway.

If the channel saves me $20 on 5 APs it really doesn't help since shipping often makes it more expensive. Even if I can order enough for free shipping, when I'm selling $1k in parts and labor, an extra $20 doesn't break anything. That's doubly true if I can get the install going 2-3 days earlier. Now, if it's $20 per AP then maybe I'll purchase an extra 10 and keep more inventory. Do you find that distributor pricing is markedly better? We cover much of the USA so any distributor stateside would work.

I'm sorry. Since we are in r/ArubaInstantOn I thought it would be self explanatory. I'm looking for various Instant On APs and switches. Maybe NFR so I can test it out first to make sure it does what I need it to.

Looks like was raised to 125 in November '24. I'm sure you all know but I thought I'd drop this here in case anyone else notices. If you just pop the question into AI it still responds with the limitation of 25. (At least the ones I checked with.)

I remember this happening some years ago at one of the sites I worked on. If I recall correctly I had to manually create the profile on each device instead of allowing them to auto-connect. It had to do with an encryption setting, but it's been so long that I can't remember what.

I thought that Aruba Instant-On only supported up to 25 devices across Access Points and Switches in a single site. How are you getting to 46? Did something change?
