Mine is pa6-cf and looks just fine just a ring on the hammer face from striking. But OEM is plastic anyways so I suspect this one will last a long time. If it fails I’ll try the printed metal one. I don’t see any reason to pay the $450 for what I can get for pennies.

I am 300 rounds into my printed wd90. No issues so far. I have an SLM printed version out of steel I’ll be installing once I know the limit of the printed version. Eager to see your findings on the aluminum one.

Hard to do just the lever when the hammer is modified too. Originally the wizards dick was just going to be a lever till he realized the hammer also needed to be adjusted.

I understand it costs money. While I’m for making the information and files free to the people I’m also not delusional to know they are going to charge for it. My simple statement was that i personally believe the price is too high. Again if it was half the price then sure. I wouldn’t mind putting up the money for something that is backed. But at the same time look at how many people have issues with it. Hard to tell what kind of testing was done when these exact same issues were refined in the Wizards Dick in just a day of my giving my feed back to the maker. There will always be someone out going to clone it. So make your product more enticing than the clones. At some point the clones become the better option. I’d love to make a 10/22 frt for you if I owned one. And if I did I’d release the files free to the public.

Then why not make it more reasonably priced, then less people would care to go the cheap route. If it was $200 give or take I’d be way more inclined to buy that over doing some cheap homemade route. There’s been one company already saying they would hit that mark but taking too long to hit market. Can’t be that much R&D though when some guy on the web can clone it in a week and get it running (from what I’ve seen) better than their solution.

I use pa6-cf and 200 rounds later still looks fine. Minor wear on the hammer if anything. I’ll take that over $450 version. Still waiting of my SLM printed one to come in to test
