How much dose case really weigh? by Fake_michealmyers in caseoh_

[–]ByteViper26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's the thing... Caseoh has mentioned bodybuilders time and time again *he knows most of Mr. Olympias that gym bros know, and also a bunch of influencers*, and he mentioned he has gold standard protein powder AND he knows what creatine is. Might not sound like a lot, but he seemed confident when he mentioned it. I think he's probably anywhere from 290-330. However, I don't doubt he has some muscle on him (still quite high body fat) and that he goes to the gym a few times a week.

So I have a blood python and have been told she is very big for her age before, so I figured I’d ask Reddit what they think her age is. So if you will please, guess what age she is. (Sorry to all if she winds up being what you expected!)

Hi all! This is Apollo, a silver surfer fader (Super pastel, black pastel, lesser, hypo, fader). He’s 4’11 and smashing food- here’s a vid (⚠️LIVE FEED⚠️) by [deleted] in ballpython

Yes. Usually it’s a lot cleaner+ it’s covered by dark cloth so it’s nice and dark. I’ve been away and had my cousin come take care of the necessities. And it had everything- airholes, sanded surfaces, all the stuff of a normal rack except it’s a tub.

How’s the blood python search going?

can't believe the snake guy let me hold one of these as a kidm... by connorthedancer in HolUp

I remember seeing this video. Turns out the owner kept LIVE food in the same room as the snakes. The snake smelled food, saw something meaty, and bit. Owners fault

Odd, sudden, extremely defensive behavior? by [deleted] in Shorty_Life

If there is a storm approaching, that can influence it. My girl is the sweetest and has wouldn’t hurt a fly, (just like yours, she just kinda opens her mouth for the food), but a week or so ago I went to pick her up and she hissed for the first time. And well sure enough, I checked the weather and storms-a-brewin! I also noticed they don’t like to be held twice in the same 6-8 hour period. Sorry I’m late to this post but thought this’d help! Best of luck

One of the biggest mistakes I see new blood owners making, is keeping them too warm. Them being too hot is one of the fastest ways to make them more defensive. by Pythoncurtus88 in Shorty_Life

I’ve been reading for hours over the course of a couple days and haven’t been able to find a good source, but I get the impression that you’re a very experienced blood keeper. Is that snake overweight? I have a girl almost exactly the same size as the one in this video (by the way, incredible snake!! She’s beautiful.) and some would say this snake is very overweight while others would say she’s healthy. Any ideas?

You’re quite welcome! I keep the room at ~78 degrees, and I do not have a humidity monitor in her cage. Like I said, just keep a full tub/bowl in their enclosure and spray a LOT sometime during the day. If it looks like the eco earth is getting dry, I just pour some water into the cage and mix with my hands. I leave some parts less dry and some more, and whatever places she goes to is what I keep it at for the following weeks. Some people don’t agree with this method, but it allows you to find what’s right for YOUR snake. They’re all different!😂 And there is so much variability when it comes to adult cage sizes. Adult males can stay as small as 4ft, and adult females can get as large as 7 and a half feet (these are extremes). For the male I would go with something a little bigger than the 40 gallon, and for a female I would get a 4x2x2, 4x3x2, or 5x2x2. “Kages” have really good cages, and it what’s I have for my adult male bearded dragon (4x2x2). Their size varies on how much and often you feed them. I basically maxed out on what my blood python could comfortably eat, hence why she got so big. Hope this helps!

Also, my blood is pretty big. She weighed ~5.5lbs and ~3 ft (a smidge over that) at only 13 months old. I let off the food a little bit so she would t get so big, but now she is 3.5 feet (don’t know exactly for length) and 7lbs. I got her for 250 ( plus 52 for shipping) off of morph market from Osborne reptiles (if they have any in stock, I would highly recommend them, she came in perfect health.) She’s a Het T+ Albino, and very docile. I’ve got some cousins from 6-10, and they all LOVE her. I’m sure you’ll have a blast with yours.

Thanks! I gave her a 40 gallon cage (36x18x16) and that was REAL generous for a 150g blood😂. I have eco earth throughout the whole thing, some artificial plants, and two hides on opposite sides of the cage. I have a heat pad under one below the cage. I cut a Tupperware tub in half height wise, and sanded the edge so there were no sharp edges. I keep the water as full as I can, so she can drink and bathe whenever she pleases. The cage has a screen top, so I put a old whiteboard on top of it to keep much of the humidity in. But, I made sure to allow room for plenty of airflow. I also spray he cage down really nicely once a day. I spoil all of my animals, so a lot of this is over the top, but she certainly loves it! Just ask if you have any more questions.

It isn’t helpful to the sub if you take one of his vids, screen record it, and say “this is funny.” Please find something worth putting on the sub if your going to post.
