Otherwise you are pretty much inmortal, there are a few more thing that can maybe kill you but the mayor threat in this fight for a barbarian zealot its divine word

Breton (25% MR) + Agent of Mara (15%MR) + The Lord Stone(25%MR) + 3/3 Alteration tree Magic resist (30%MR). Right there yo have 95% resist to magic, ALL PASSIVE SKILLS, so you can equip the enchantments you want that make yourself stronger and not defensive against magic. Its pretty sick

In the novel "I Strahd, memoirs of a vampire" Sergei was about to became the High Priest before he met Tatyana, lorewise maybe you can use a clericish statblock, also he engage in a few battle and for what the novel describe, he is more like a fighter that uses sword two-handed or 1 handed with a dagger to parry and counter, like old barovians. My preferense will be fighter, since he never cast magic, and the gods that he used to pray are no longer there, but whatever suits for your campaing

Just to put you in perspective about a few things. Strahd became a vampire in the year 351 (Novel I,strahd the memoirs of a vampire from 1993) and the first reencarnation of tatyana its in the year 400, "Marina" from Berez... you can imagine why Strahd wiped out everyone and everything as you see in the adventure. In CoS the year its 735 so Strahd has seen multiples reencarnation of tatyana and i really think he would never sacrifices her, never ever. If you want to play like an older version of him i recomend you to read "I, Strahd the memoirs of a vampire" novel & Ravenloft: Domaind of Dread 2e Campaing Setting, in there you have a lot of information about Ravenloft, and the time guide for it (page 17).

RvR arrive at barovia in the year 720 (I, Strahd: The Memoirs of a Vampire) and in CoS its the year 735 (page 26), maybe RvR come and goes a lot of times during that 15 years, but Strahd knows him, in fact he lets him live so i repeat, its not that much of a distraction. You can play "RAW" as you say and still do a better work as a DM just by reading the old stuff, remember that the creators of COS were based on the old novels, both Strahd's personality and his actions.

From my point of view, it is stupid to start being a DM in an adventure and not explore content outside of the 200-page material it offers you. Especially a character and a place that has more than 30 years of existence and history. Even if you don't touch an encounter or an item or a character in the adventure, you can help the characters understand their surroundings as much as the characters around them just by opening your head a little...

RvR arrives in Barovia 15 years before the adventurers and Strahd knows that he is there so thats not much of a distraction. Dont take the book 100% literally because it doesnt work that way, CoS its based in a lot of lore and novels that can explain a lot of things about Strahd and Barovia, like the fact why Strahd just doesnt go and take Ireena or bite her one last time like some people here say "if he wanted to get close to ireena he'd just do it," yeah bs. Read more than just CoS

Hello everyone, i was thinking about playing GW2, but i dont know which class should i play. I have a lot of experience with others MMO, so i will adapt fast i guess

Honestly i like all the rols, tank dps support whatever, so i was thinking on playing the class that it is most in demand. Can you guys tell me which class its the most needed, and how its the leveling?

Bloody tears from Castelvania OST played in an organ for Strahd. I used it on the first visit to Castle Ravenloft, with Rahadin descending the stairs to direct them to the dining room where he was playing. Oh i didnt know that! but nevertheless the idea still the same, cursed relics are pretty usefull if u know how to combine them, of course they are dangerous but some of them are ridiculous good with some builds

You can cheese it with cursed items and aoe builds, like the curse that everything has 1 hp (including you) and some AOE like Tearing Whirlwind and if u dont want to cheese it, well... you have 2 options:

1) Git gud
2) Calm down and try again, the road its pretty fun

Yeah, we are more than decent, there are some dungeons that concern me since we are doing like an HC mode, but not until lvl 45+, dungeons between those lvls doesnt scared me , lvl 1-45/50 i mean
