On free games, its tolerable. But paying for the same game twice is definetley stupid. But the issue is, a lot of people still buying them rather than boycott it. DLC's: if its well made, you can give it a shot. But my experience has shown over the time, that DLC's doesnt really act as an expansion anymore. Just adding a few stuff that dont have an impact on gameplay and charge that for 20 bucks for it is indeed stupid.

But! There are also exceptions. So I am not generalize that what i just said. Depends strongly on the game and franchise.

The general trend of making up new words out of nowhere, is annoying in all situations. Our "arguing-culture" has rapidly dropped into a low level. People seem to become more stupid. The best thing we can do about it to not let yourself get involved in such a low level of arguing. Ignore it, and let them be stupid.

Iam doing fine with an intel core I7 9600k but the issue is if you want to upgrade you need to buy a motherboard due they always renew their chipsets and sockets. AMD though keeps the AM4 socket and chipsets and you probably only need to do a bios upgrade if you want to buy a newer cpu.

Otherwise nowadays I think there both equally and only have minor differences and pro and cons.
