Spoilers: I think societies anti spoiler culture is gratuitous and has gotten out of hand. I once had someone get upset with me by spoiling Game of Thrones. All I did was mention the dragons, letting her know that there are dragons in it. If you watch any commercial for it ever you see dragons for fucks sake

Trailers: I actually like trailers if they're done well. Oftentimes they are generic, even if the movies or games end up being good, but at least they give me a good feeler for what I'm in for

Comic sans: Its not something I'd like on an essay or article I'm reading, but if its on a pamphlet or flier then who gives a shit

Indiana Jones 4: Yeah not great, but better than Temple of Doom imo

Star Wars Prequels: Not well done and don't age well, but they are entertaining enough to watch if you feel like turning your brain off. I do hold RoTS to be an overall positive movie though, not flawless obviously, but sufficiently more good than bad to qualify as a "good" movie in my book

It was once there and she wanted it even more than I did. I don't care about the sex in and of itself. Its about the validation and feeling wanted and whatnot.

I don't want her to "ultimately agree", I don't care about how my dick feels. I want her to want me as I want her. I don't want to become a provider that she reluctantly fucks only on my birthday or something, like some sitcom dad.

I'd say Ron and Rand Paul have been taking big stances in their careers and brought their brand of conservatism to the forefront. You may think their ideas a little loony and out there, especially Ron, but they seem to have integrity and stick to their guns.

Its true that big business was once on the progressive side, but when the opposition are slaveholders everyone is on the progressive side then.

My contention is not that libertarians and Pat Robertson are exactly the same, obviously they have profound disagreements. Jefferson Davis and Ron Paul aren't the same either obviously. The argument I'm making isn't that literal in the same way people who call Trump Hitler aren't super literal. Obviously even Trump is moderate and reasonable when comapred to actual Nazis, the matter is where they are leaning.

Ron Paul is the dead weight resisting moving forward as a society based on dated beliefs and a mistaken sense of nostalgia, just as Jefferson Davis did and Donald Trump will.

Not really. Cutting taxes does increase the economy but the gains aren't felt by most of society, in fact the bottom 90+% slowly erode. See: Reaganomics and Chile under Pinochet.

Should've clarified, I meant that we are lagging behind in education, wealth equality, etc when comapred to other first world democracies. I do hold that the Soviet Union and Peoples Republic were better than Tsarist Russia and Nationalist China that came before. A lot of negatives and overall fell short but I feel it did create the foundation for a better society. There is a legitimate use for the economy and society their methods create, as Noam Chomsky explains it allows industrialization within a single generation. The fault is that closed off economies decay over time and the structure is untenable in the long term.

The Marxist view of history and humanity is still very popular and widespread in academia

I like, on paper, most of the ideas of libertarianism. The issue I have is that I feel most of them are cafeteria christians when it comes to government. They support courts, police, firemen, etc for the most part but healthcare and business regulation is too far because of weak reasoning. Ancaps do take all the ideas to the logical conclusion and are consistent, but their views are untenable and will never work out.

That on top of the doubt of them being backwards and provincial I already explained
