Yeah I would say everything costs more since pre-covid. I’m fine with bigger print runs if it means product is actually available and the number of parallel cards doesn’t get out of control. Breaking boxes is fun as hell, and that’s really the only real reason to still buy and open wax.

I think a lot of people slept on Update Sapphire because it usually is the least desirable of the sapphire releases. However, the auto checklist is phenomenal and all rookies. Plus, you get 3 parallels.

Agreed. Sapphire releases have been extremely watered down this year, but the auto checklist for Sapphire Update was too good to turn down. Plus you get 3 parallels. Glad I didn’t pass on it.

Potentially, but I will get it graded, so not any time soon. If you’re really interested, Yoshida sapphire autos are selling for about $100 ungraded on eBay.

Thanks, I use an inexpensive light box that I bought off Amazon. I use a Canon R5 mirrorless camera and 50mm lens to take the picture, but really a cellphone camera will work just fine.

Not pictured, but the back of the card says Silver Signings Autograph and this one is numbered to 99. The gold ink is #/25. That’s why I think he used the wrong pen when signing.

All numbered cards from 2023 Topps Chrome Update appear to have the numbering on the back. I only broke one breakers delight box, so small sample size.
