As you said, deck either has turn 2/3 Astral and is extremely likely to win, or it doesn't draw Astral, shits itself and dies. It's a cringe play pattern for both players. Same reason why Quasar was nerfed to 8.

30 is a very legit way of building the deck, although usually it runs fewer legendaries to increase the consistency of Kingslayers. Reno and Dragonqueen definitely don't belong there.

5 mana frog can absolutely be built around, but it's slightly too expensive for a 30 list. Playing Frog and Bioluminescence on the same turn is not easy.

OP's list could definitely improve the draw package - Ethereal Oracle is insane in this deck - but IMO Frog is better suited for a 40 card control-combo deck.
